This is a very strong multicity fare from Los Angeles to Nadi, Fiji and Auckland, New Zealand. For around US$765, travellers get a proper two-destination Pacific trip instead of a simple return flight, which makes the overall value much stronger.

The suggested split of 4 nights in Fiji and 11 nights in New Zealand works very well. Fiji gives enough time for a real beach stopover before continuing to Auckland, while New Zealand gets the larger share of the trip because there is much more ground to cover.

The comfort level is also good for this kind of trip. The long Los Angeles to Nadi sector is direct, the Nadi to Auckland flight is short, and the return only has a manageable connection in Nadi. Add 30 kg checked baggage included, and this becomes a very attractive long-haul deal.

This multicity trip works best with a smart split between Fiji and New Zealand. The Fiji stop is ideal for a few relaxed beach days before continuing to Auckland, while New Zealand deserves more nights because there is much more to explore beyond the city.

In Nadi, Fiji, accommodation can vary a lot depending on whether you want a simple stopover stay or a more luxurious resort-style experience. On sample searches, apartments and simple stays in the vicinity of Nadi Airport could be found from around US$100 per night, while more luxurious 4–5 star hotels and resorts often start from around US$350 per night.

If travelling as a couple, the Fiji accommodation cost becomes much easier to manage because the room cost can be shared.
