Guangzhou
from €1,970
About this deal
A genuinely useful 2-in-1 Business Class itinerary from Amsterdam combining
10 hotel nights in Bali with a 3-night Guangzhou stopover.
The fare is around €1,970 with China Southern, booked through
Mytrip via Skyscanner.
The long-haul Europe sectors are the strong part of the fare:
Airbus A350, 1-2-1 seating and full-flat Business Class.
The compromise is the Guangzhou–Bali flying, where both sectors are scheduled on an
A321neo with 2-2 recliner Business Class. Each of those flights is around
5h20, so this is a meaningful downgrade compared with the long-haul product.
The fare includes a very generous 2 × 23 kg checked baggage.
For Dutch passport holders, the 3-night Guangzhou stopover is currently possible without a visa
under China's visa-free entry policy, but entry rules should always be re-checked before travel.
Long-haul: A350 · 1-2-1 full-flat
Regional: A321neo · 2-2 recliner

Fare proof
Mytrip via Skyscanner showed the multi-city Business Class itinerary from around €1,970 per person, including 2 × 23 kg checked baggage.
Check current price →The A350 sectors offer 1-2-1 full-flat Business Class. The two Guangzhou–Bali sectors are scheduled on A321neo aircraft with 2-2 recliner seats. Because each regional sector is around 5h20, this is a real compromise rather than a short feeder flight.
View itinerary details →Why this fare works + important details
The strongest part of this fare is the trip structure: 10 nights in Bali + 3 nights in Guangzhou for around €1,970 in Business Class. The Europe–China sectors are both on the A350 with full-flat 1-2-1 seating, and the fare includes 2 × 23 kg checked baggage.
1. Regional Business Class: both 5h20 CAN–DPS sectors use an A321neo with 2-2 recliner Business, not a lie-flat seat.
2. Late Bali arrival: the outbound reaches Denpasar at 23:25, so the first hotel night starts very late.
3. Early Bali departure: DPS–CAN leaves at 08:35, requiring an early airport start.
4. China entry: Dutch passport holders can currently use China's visa-free entry policy for this 3-night Guangzhou stopover, but visa rules can change — check again before travel.
5. OTA booking: the fare is shown with Mytrip via Skyscanner. Confirm the complete multi-city itinerary, baggage and cabin for every sector before payment.

Open the Skyscanner multi-city result and select Mytrip from the vendor list. Before paying, verify the three-trip structure, 2 × 23 kg checked baggage and the exact aircraft / Business Class configuration shown for every sector.
Check Mytrip fare →Every combination gives you 10 actual hotel nights in Bali + 3 actual hotel nights in Guangzhou. The outbound night from Amsterdam is spent onboard and is not counted as a hotel night.
Strong sub-€2,000 pricing, two useful destinations, 2 × 23 kg baggage and excellent A350 long-haul Business Class. The score is held back by the two 5h20 A321neo sectors in 2-2 recliner Business Class, plus the late arrival into Bali and early Bali departure.

This itinerary gives you enough time to enjoy Bali properly and still add a useful 3-night Guangzhou stopover before flying back to Amsterdam. I would treat the two destinations very differently: split Bali between two areas, but keep Guangzhou simple and central.
Ten nights is enough to see more than one side of Bali without rushing. I would normally combine Ubud with one beach area rather than staying in the same place for the entire trip.
Bali has an enormous range of villas, boutique hotels and resorts. Prioritise location, recent reviews, air-conditioning and transfer time rather than choosing only by price.
Best areas to stay in Bali
For this fare I would probably do 4 nights Ubud + 6 nights Sanur, Seminyak, Nusa Dua or Uluwatu depending on the kind of beach stay you want.
Bali airport + practical notes
Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is in southern Bali.
As a rough guide, allow around 20–40 minutes to Jimbaran / Nusa Dua,
30–60 minutes to Sanur,
45–90 minutes to Seminyak / Canggu and
60–120 minutes to Ubud, depending heavily on traffic.
The reference flight reaches Bali at 23:25, so for the first night I would avoid an ambitious long transfer.
If you plan to stay in Ubud, it may still be worth pre-booking the transfer so the driver is waiting on arrival.
For the return, the 08:35 departure means a very early hotel pickup.

Three nights is enough for a useful introduction to Guangzhou. I would choose a central hotel with easy metro access and avoid spending the stopover commuting from the airport area.
For such a short stopover, location matters more than hotel size. Look for somewhere near a metro station in Tianhe, Yuexiu, Zhujiang New Town or Liwan.
Best areas to stay in Guangzhou
For only three nights, my first choices would be Tianhe or Zhujiang New Town because they are convenient, easy to navigate and well connected.
Guangzhou airport + visa note
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) is north of the city.
For central areas such as Tianhe or Yuexiu, allow roughly 45–70 minutes by car depending on traffic.
The metro is usually the most predictable budget option and connects the airport with the city network.
For this itinerary, Dutch citizens holding an ordinary Dutch passport can currently enter China visa-free for up to 30 days
for tourism and transit purposes, with the policy currently extended through 31 December 2026.
That makes the 3-night Guangzhou stopover straightforward for most Dutch travellers.
Visa rules can change, so re-check the official Chinese Embassy information before departure.

What to do with 3 nights in Guangzhou
If you prefer to use Guangzhou only as a base, Foshan is an easy nearby add-on. I would not try to squeeze Hong Kong or Shenzhen into a 3-night stopover unless you are happy with a much faster-paced trip.
