This is a third-party booking, so voluntary changes, refunds and post-booking assistance would normally be handled through the agency.
Compare both providers before payment, including the final currency, payment fees, fare rules and post-booking support conditions.
Evening departure from Budapest and late-morning arrival in Xi'an make this a very practical eastbound schedule.
The midday departure avoids an inconvenient overnight airport trip, while the 17:00 arrival in Budapest is excellent.
The Skyscanner booking flow may display prices in Hungarian forints. Check the final card currency and any foreign-exchange charges before paying.
After booking, make sure you receive the airline reservation reference and verify the full itinerary, passenger names, baggage allowance and ticket status.
Before paying, verify that the selected itinerary still shows: Boeing 787 aircraft, 1-2-1 private-suite Business Class, 2 × 32 kg checked baggage and nonstop flights in both directions .
Also compare Gotogate and Mytrip carefully because the price difference is very small.
Xi'an offers surprisingly strong hotel value, with very well-rated upscale and five-star properties sometimes available from around €60 per room per night. Our selected hotel is slightly more expensive at approximately €79 per room per night for two adults, but combines an excellent central location with a superb 9.1 guest rating.
Lianhu District · Central Xi'an · Metro access
Four Points by Sheraton Xi'an Bell Tower is an excellent first
base for this China trip thanks to its combination of location,
comfort and value.
The hotel sits in central Xi'an within easy reach of the historic
core, making it practical for exploring the Bell Tower, Drum
Tower, Muslim Quarter and other city-centre attractions without
spending large amounts of time travelling across the city.
Rooms are modern and spacious, with air conditioning, private
bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, seating areas and city views available in
selected categories.
For travellers arriving after a ten-hour Business Class flight,
this is exactly the type of comfortable central hotel that works
well for the first few nights before beginning a wider China
itinerary.
Excellent base for Xi'an's historic centre.
Useful for exploring the wider city independently.
Included throughout the property.
Breakfast-inclusive rates were available at a modest premium.
Selected rooms measure approximately 38–45 m².
Free-cancellation options were displayed.
Based on two adults sharing one room from 13–17 September 2026.
The example room rate includes taxes and charges and was shown with
free cancellation and
no prepayment required.
A breakfast-inclusive rate was displayed at approximately
€368 for four nights.
Several room categories were available at the same €316 base price,
including king rooms and rooms with two double beds.
Xi'an deserves more than a quick overnight stop. It combines one of China's most important historical centres with one of the country's best-known archaeological attractions.
Three nights provide time for the historic centre, Muslim Quarter
and a full-day visit to the Terracotta Warriors.
This works best for travellers trying to include several Chinese
cities in one trip.
Four nights give enough time to recover from the flight, explore
central Xi'an, visit the Terracotta Warriors and still have a slower
day for the city wall or Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
This is the best balance for the reference itinerary.
Add a fifth night when Xi'an is the principal destination or when
planning additional excursions outside the city.
For a two-week China itinerary, however, four nights is normally
sufficient.
The nonstop flight leaves Budapest on 12 September and reaches
Xi'an at approximately 11:00 on 13 September.
Book the first hotel from 13 September. There is no
need to reserve the previous night.
Return to Xi'an two nights before the flight home.
This creates a comfortable buffer before the 12:20 international
departure on 26 September and avoids depending on a long-distance
train journey on flight day.
With almost two weeks in China, the nonstop Xi'an flights can become the gateway to a simple three-city itinerary using China's rail network.
Check in, recover and explore around the Bell Tower.
Allow most of the day.
Historic Xi'an and local food.
Slower final day before continuing south.
Continue towards Sichuan without adding another flight.
One of Chengdu's signature attractions.
Tea houses, parks and local cuisine.
Explore more of the city or add an excursion.
Add a completely different urban experience.
Riverside skyline and dramatic urban scenery.
Finish with Chongqing's famous hotpot culture.
Return to Xi'an on 24 September and stay for two more
nights before the nonstop flight back to Budapest.
The complete 13-night itinerary becomes:
Xi'an 4 nights → Chengdu 4 nights → Chongqing 3 nights → Xi'an 2 nights
.
This keeps the trip relatively simple while combining historic Xi'an,
Sichuan culture in Chengdu and the dramatic modern cityscape of
Chongqing.
For the reference itinerary, search first for 13–17 September 2026 for two adults. A separate final reservation can then be made for 24–26 September 2026.
The Four Points by Sheraton Xi'an Bell Tower example is based on a four-night stay from 13–17 September 2026 for two adults sharing one room. The property was displayed with a 9.1 guest rating and 9.8 location score. The €316 example rate included taxes and charges and was shown with free cancellation and no prepayment.
