Curaçao
from €1,998 return
About this deal
This is a very straightforward Caribbean Business Class deal: Düsseldorf to Curaçao nonstop in both directions,
sold by Corendon. The reference trip is 14–21 January 2027, giving you
7 nights in Curaçao, with the fare checked at €1,997.06 return.
The biggest strength is the routing. There is no connection at all: Düsseldorf 12:55 → Curaçao 18:30,
then Curaçao 19:55 → Düsseldorf 10:50+1. For a winter Caribbean trip from Germany, those are unusually clean and civilised timings.
The planned aircraft is a World2Fly Airbus A330-300 operating for Corendon. Business Class is arranged
2-2-2 with a wide 170° near-flat recliner. It is spacious and comfortable, but this is important:
it is not a true 180° fully-flat bed.
The Business fare includes 30 kg checked baggage, 10 kg cabin baggage and a
4 kg under-seat bag, plus priority services, flexible fare conditions and enhanced onboard catering.

Business Class product: what you are actually getting
The seat is not industry-leading, but 10h35 outbound and 9h55 return with no connection is extremely attractive. You leave Düsseldorf after lunch and are in Curaçao the same evening.
Do not book this expecting a modern 180° Business Class bed. The seat reclines to around 170°. For some travellers that is perfectly comfortable; others may prefer a connecting itinerary with a true lie-flat product.
Booking options
The fare proof comes from Corendon's own booking page. I have prepared the date combinations through Skyscanner so you can quickly recheck the live fare and then select the Corendon option shown for your dates.
Check 14–21 January →Make sure the itinerary still shows XR801 / XR802 nonstop, the Business fare still includes 30 kg checked baggage, and the planned long-haul aircraft/product has not changed. The most important product detail is that the seat is near-flat rather than fully flat.
Recheck the reference fare →I found six January combinations worth checking. The reference is the one-week 14–21 January 2027 trip at €1,997.06 when verified. Prices are live and can move at any time.
A very clean nonstop Caribbean Business Class trip with excellent timings and a fair direct-booking price. The main reason it does not score in the 9s is the seat: comfortable and spacious, but 170° near-flat rather than a true fully-flat bed.

Curaçao hotel pick · 14–21 January 2027
For the full 7-night reference stay, this is the hotel I would seriously consider. Scuba Lodge City Beach is a 4-star boutique oceanfront property in Willemstad's colourful Pietermaai District, close enough to walk toward Punda and the historic centre while still giving you pools, sea access and a proper holiday feel. The listing showed an 8.9/10 guest score, 9.7/10 for location and 9.3/10 for comfort.
Booking.com showed €1,868 for the headline room rate, so the Karma badge was indicating a potential €241 saving. Always compare the same room, cancellation policy, meal plan and taxes before paying.
💰 Dino hotel booking method
Use Booking.com to compare location, guest score, room type, facilities and the conditions you actually want.
Karma can surface another seller with a lower rate while you browse. On this search it showed €1,627 versus Booking.com's €1,868.
Match the same room, meal plan, taxes, payment timing and cancellation terms. Then use Trivago or another comparison tool as a final sanity check if you want.
🏨 Our pick: Scuba Lodge City Beach
Scuba Lodge City Beach sits in Pietermaai, one of the nicest areas for travellers who want more than a resort bubble. The property is spread across colourful restored buildings and combines a historic Willemstad feel with the things you actually want on a Caribbean holiday: two swimming pools, an oceanfront infinity pool, beach/sea access, restaurant and bar, sun loungers and a relaxed waterfront setting.
I particularly like the location for a first visit. You can walk toward Punda, Queen Emma Bridge, cafés, bars and restaurants, then return to a hotel that still feels like part of the holiday rather than just somewhere to sleep. There is also a dive centre next door, which makes this an especially good fit if snorkelling or diving is part of the trip.
🛌 Room, rate and cancellation details
Extra-large double bed, private bathroom, air conditioning, patio, flat-screen TV and kitchenette facilities shown on the listing.
€1,868 total including taxes and charges for the 7-night stay on the screenshot checked.
The same listing also showed a higher option around €1,966 with free cancellation before 11 January 2027.
Breakfast was shown as optional at around €17. Compare whether breakfast is included when checking another seller.
⏳ How many nights in Curaçao?
Enough for Willemstad, one or two beaches and a quick taste of the island, but you will be choosing what to skip.
A strong minimum for a first visit if you want a city day, beach days and at least one island excursion.
The sweet spot here. You have time for Willemstad, west-coast beaches, Klein Curaçao and some proper downtime.
Worth considering if you want a slower beach holiday, diving, or to split the trip between Willemstad and the quieter west of the island.
📍 Best areas to stay in Curaçao
My favourite first-timer choice if you want colourful architecture, restaurants, nightlife and easy access to central Willemstad.
Best for historic Willemstad, Queen Emma Bridge and being right in the middle of the UNESCO-listed city atmosphere.
More resort-like, with beach clubs, restaurants and easy seaside days. Good if beach time matters more than historic streets.
Polished and relaxed with resorts, restaurants and beach facilities. Better for a classic holiday feel than city exploring.
🗺️ What to do with a week
Give yourself time for Pietermaai, Punda, Otrobanda, the floating Queen Emma Bridge and the waterfront after dark.
Spend a full day beach-hopping around places such as Grote Knip, Cas Abao and Playa Lagun rather than rushing between them.
A classic full-day boat trip for clear water, snorkelling and a completely different island atmosphere.
Curaçao is a strong shore-diving destination, and the dive centre next to Scuba Lodge makes this particularly convenient.
⚠️ Curaçao practical survival kit
The island's beaches and viewpoints are spread out. A car gives you much more freedom than relying on taxis for every outing.
Use high-SPF sunscreen, drink plenty of water and do not underestimate the heat even when the breeze makes it feel comfortable.
Curaçao can be expensive for restaurants, beach clubs and car hire. The hotel deal is only one part of the overall trip cost.
Download maps and save booking details before driving around the island, especially if your mobile data is limited.
Curaçao rewards getting out of the resort. I would look at a Klein Curaçao boat day, west-coast beach tours, snorkelling or diving, and a proper Willemstad walking / food experience — then keep enough free time to enjoy the island at your own pace.
A few useful extras chosen with premium-cabin travellers in mind — from quality carry-on luggage and reliable mobile data to travel rewards that can add extra value before, during and after the flight.
A much better fit for premium-cabin travel: sleek hard-shell luggage
designed for frequent flyers, short business trips and smooth airport
handling.
LEVEL8 offers business carry-ons with features such as

card or relying on airport Wi-Fi.
