The lowest price I would consider is €1,782 via Mytrip, while booking directly on the
GOL website was approximately €1,870.

Availability is the main limitation: the useful fares I found are concentrated in a narrow

I am not using the cheaper lol.travel fare for this deal. The relevant comparison is approximately €1,782 via Mytrip versus €1,870 directly on the GOL website.
Business fare benefits + booking warnings
The GOL fare screen shows Insignia Business Classic with a fully lie-flat Business seat, a purse/backpack up to 10 kg, a small suitcase up to 12 kg, and the first and second checked bags free of charge. It also lists priority check-in, boarding and baggage claim, lounge access, premium inflight service, same-day earlier flight at no charge and pre-departure changes at no charge.

are after the Carnival period.
2. Aircraft configuration: GOL also operates this route with an older A330 configuration in 2-2-2 Business Class.
On Skyscanner, open “View info” for the exact flight you are considering — it should show the aircraft and seat layout currently scheduled.
If you specifically want the newer 1-2-1 full-flat product, verify that before booking.
3. Aircraft swaps: even when Skyscanner shows the newer 1-2-1 configuration, an aircraft change can still happen before departure.

Nonstop Lisbon-Rio Business Class with a 1-2-1 full-flat product for under €1,900 is excellent. The direct GOL price is competitive too. The reason this stays below 9.5 is the limited availability: all useful dates are concentrated after Carnival in a short February-March window.

This is the kind of Rio hotel I would look at: a proper beachfront location, excellent access to the city and a rooftop pool overlooking one of the world’s most famous beaches.
Windsor California Copacabana is especially attractive for a first Rio stay because you are directly on Avenida Atlântica, with Copacabana outside the door and Ipanema, Leblon, Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer all within easy reach.
This is a very easy hotel to recommend for someone visiting Rio for the first time. The main attraction is the location directly on Copacabana’s seafront, but the rooftop pool and ocean views give it much more of a holiday feel than a standard city hotel.
You also have restaurants, cafés, nightlife and the beach within walking distance, while the major Rio sights are straightforward to reach by taxi, ride-hailing app or organised tour. For a 6-night first visit, Copacabana is a practical base because you do not need to keep changing hotels.
The corrected search for 20–26 February 2027 shows approximately €1,075 for 6 nights / 2 adults. Breakfast can be added separately on this rate for about €21.

Where to stay in Rio
For a first visit I would stay in the beach districts rather than trying to save a little money far from the main sights. Rio is spread out, so location has a real impact on the trip.
The easiest all-round choice: famous beach, lots of hotels and restaurants, good transport and straightforward access to the major sights.
More fashionable and slightly more relaxed, with excellent beach access, restaurants and nightlife.
Upscale, quieter and polished. A great area if your budget allows and you want more of a neighbourhood feel.
Better as an alternative or second stay if you want nightlife, historic streets and a less beach-focused Rio experience.
Where to go next on longer stays
The longer fare combinations give you enough time to turn this into a broader Brazil trip. For most travellers I would keep 5–7 nights in Rio and use the rest somewhere completely different.
