About this deal
This is one of the more interesting multi-city Business Class fares I have found from New York: build a trip around three separate European city breaks while keeping a proper full-flat TAP Business Class product on the transatlantic sectors.
The prepared examples combine either Porto or Lisbon, then Budapest, then Frankfurt or Munich, before returning to New York. The cheapest Gotogate fares via Skyscanner US were roughly US$2,879–US$2,898 — approximately €2,506–€2,523 at the exchange rate checked when this deal was prepared.
The dates are highly customisable. These are prepared examples rather than rigid packages, so if you want more or fewer nights in Portugal, Budapest or Germany, try adjusting the individual dates while keeping the same multi-city structure.
Approx. euro range: €2,506–€2,523

The reference itinerary gives you 5 nights in Lisbon + 6 nights in Budapest + 4 nights in Munich. The November/December timing also gives the Budapest and Munich portions a strong Christmas-market-season angle. Exact market dates should always be checked before booking around a specific event.
Fare + Business Class details
Important booking note: this is a more complex multi-city ticket, so check every city/date combination carefully before payment. The prepared examples are highly customisable, but changing one date can alter the fare or routing.
Booking options + fare proof
The prepared fares were roughly US$2,879–US$2,898. For this occasion I would use the Gotogate fare because the multi-city price is materially lower than the other sellers shown. No direct TAP booking at a comparable fare was available when checked.
Prepared February/March examples with Porto + Budapest + Munich or Frankfurt.
Fare screenshots are proof of the prices found when the deal was checked. Always recheck the live fare, baggage and final payment total before booking.
I prepared 6 combinations. The dates are highly customisable: if you want more or fewer nights in any city, use these as a starting point and adjust the individual legs while checking whether the fare remains close to the same range.

A highly customisable three-city European Business Class trip with outstanding overall holiday value. The strongest parts are the multi-city structure, generous baggage, full-flat TAP transatlantic sectors and the ability to build the trip around either winter city breaks or the Christmas-market period. The main compromise is booking through an OTA because a comparable direct TAP fare was not available.

3-city hotel playbook
The reference itinerary gives you 5 hotel nights in Lisbon, 6 nights in Budapest and 4 nights in Munich. That is a very comfortable pace: enough time to see each city properly without turning the trip into a hotel-hopping marathon. I would choose the area first, compare the final stay price, then keep Karma active while checking the same room elsewhere before paying.
🇵🇹 Lisbon: 19–24 Nov 2026 · 5 nights
🇭🇺 Budapest: 24–30 Nov 2026 · 6 nights
🇩🇪 Munich: 30 Nov–4 Dec 2026 · 4 nights
💰 Dino hotel booking method
Pick the neighbourhood that matches how you want to spend your time, then shortlist hotels with strong recent reviews and useful transport.
Leave Karma active while browsing Booking.com so it can check whether the same stay appears cheaper through another seller.
If Karma finds nothing useful, make one final like-for-like comparison before paying.
🇵🇹 Lisbon · 19–24 November · 5 nights
Arrive, settle in and keep the first afternoon/evening easy around Baixa, Chiado or the riverfront.
Historic Lisbon: Alfama, Castelo, Baixa, viewpoints, Belém and plenty of time for food stops.
A very natural slot for Sintra, especially if this is your first time in Portugal.
Use the final full day for neighbourhoods, museums, food or simply a slower Lisbon day.
The easiest first-time base: central, walkable and well connected, but usually one of the pricier searches.
Polished, practical and well connected by Metro. Good if you want comfort without sleeping in the busiest tourist lanes.
Atmospheric and photogenic, but the hills and cobbled streets matter if you are carrying luggage.
Great for restaurants and nightlife. Check recent reviews for street noise if you are a light sleeper.
The airport is close to the city and the Metro works well for many stays, while a taxi/rideshare can be worth it with luggage.
Lisbon's hills and polished cobbles are beautiful but can be tiring and slippery, especially if November brings rain.
Usually mild compared with Central Europe, but showers are possible. A light waterproof layer is more useful than heavy winter gear.
Tourist trams can get packed. Keep valuables secure in crowded areas and consider walking or Metro alternatives.
Sintra day trips, Belém, food and wine tours, Fado and neighbourhood walks all fit naturally into a 5-night stay.
🇭🇺 Budapest · 24–30 November · 6 nights
Pest first: Parliament, the riverfront, Jewish Quarter, cafés and the city centre without rushing.
Cross to Buda for Castle Hill, Fisherman's Bastion and the views back over the Danube.
Thermal-bath day — ideal in late November when the colder weather makes the experience even better.
Christmas-market atmosphere, museums, food, a Danube cruise or a slower neighbourhood day.
The easiest all-round first-time base: central, walkable and close to the Danube, Parliament and major sights.
Best for nightlife, ruin bars and restaurants. Great fun, but choose carefully if you want quiet nights.
Andrássy Avenue, Opera and good transport. A strong balance between sightseeing and local atmosphere.
Quieter and scenic, with lovely views, but less convenient if most of your evenings will be in Pest.
A simple direct option between the airport and central Pest. Check the current ticket rules before travel.
Metro, tram and buses make it easy to stay outside the absolute centre if the hotel saving is worthwhile.
Pack proper winter layers. The colder weather suits thermal baths and the seasonal atmosphere, but evenings can feel sharp.
Hungary uses forint. When paying by card, avoid unnecessary dynamic currency conversion and check the amount in HUF.
Thermal baths, Danube cruises, Parliament tours, food experiences and winter city walks fit this 6-night stop very well.
🇩🇪 Munich · 30 November–4 December · 4 nights
Arrive from Budapest, check in and use the evening for the old town and your first Christmas-market atmosphere.
Marienplatz, Residenz, Viktualienmarkt and the historic centre at a comfortable pace.
Museums, neighbourhoods, beer halls or a dedicated food/beer experience depending on your interests.
Keep the final full day flexible for more markets, museums or a day trip if you are happy with an early start.
Best for walking to the historic centre and markets, but normally the most expensive option.
Excellent for museums, cafés and university atmosphere, with easy U-Bahn access into the centre.
Central, lively and useful for restaurants and nightlife. Check the exact street if noise matters.
A calmer local feel with good transport and easy access to the centre — often a strong value search.
Allow plenty of time for the S-Bahn or airport bus when heading back to the airport, especially in winter.
Late November and early December are attractive dates. Good central hotels can sell early, so I would not leave this stay until the last minute.
Expect cold weather and short daylight. Warm layers, gloves and comfortable waterproof shoes make a big difference.
A hotel near U-Bahn or S-Bahn can be a much better buy than paying a large premium to sleep directly beside Marienplatz.
Christmas-market walks, old-town tours, food and beer experiences and Neuschwanstein day trips are the obvious options for this stop.
📅 If you customise the flight dates
Lisbon: 4–5 nightsFive nights is excellent for the reference trip. If you need to shorten the itinerary, I would be comfortable reducing Lisbon to four before cutting much further.
Budapest: 4–6 nightsSix nights gives you a relaxed stay and room for baths, markets and slower days. Four or five still works very well.
Munich: 3–4 nightsFour nights is a very good fit for the seasonal trip. Three nights is enough if you want to redirect an extra night elsewhere.
A few useful extras chosen with premium-cabin travellers in mind — from quality carry-on luggage and reliable mobile data to travel rewards that can add extra value before, during and after the flight.
