Bangkok
Business Class from €1,670 return
About this deal
This is more than a good Bangkok Business Class fare. On the December departures,
the itinerary lets you try four different Etihad Business Class products on one return trip:
Boeing 787, Airbus A380, Boeing 777 and Airbus A321neo.
The reference trip is 09 December - 23 December 2026, which gives you
13 actual hotel nights in Thailand after deducting the outbound night spent onboard.
The reference Skyscanner search showed Flightnetwork at €1,670 / DKK 12,475,
while Etihad direct was €1,773 / DKK 13,252.
My preference is the Etihad-direct fare. The premium is only about
€103 on the reference search, and Etihad is also listed directly among the Skyscanner vendors.
One important catch: the fare shown by Etihad is Business Value.
It includes the Business Class seat and 35 kg checked baggage, but
airport lounge access is not included. If lounge access matters to you,
Etihad offers an upgrade to Business Comfort during booking / Manage My Booking.
Etihad direct: €1,773 · DKK 13,252
Etihad Value baggage: 35 kg checked
Airport lounge access: not included on Business Value
Routing: 1 stop each way via Abu Dhabi
Reference stay: 13 actual hotel nights

Airbus A380 · 1-2-1 · full-flat · 6h15
Includes access to Etihad's The Lobby onboard lounge on the A380.
Total journey time: 14h20.
The routing is efficient, although the 06:35 arrival in Bangkok is very early.
You gain most of the day, but hotel check-in may still be several hours away unless early check-in is available.

Fare proof
Flightnetwork showed the reference itinerary at DKK 12,475 / about €1,670 return. Depending on the date, Bravofly may also appear among the cheapest providers.

Etihad showed the same reference trip at DKK 13,252 / about €1,773 return. That is only around €103 more than Flightnetwork, so this is my preferred booking option.
Find Etihad in vendor list →Why this fare works + important details
On the December departures you can potentially fly 787 → A380 → 777 → A321neo on the same return itinerary. That gives you four distinct Etihad Business Class experiences, including the A380 with The Lobby onboard lounge and the unusual 1-1 full-flat A321neo on the final 7h05 sector to Copenhagen.
1. Return timing: Bangkok departure at 20:50 is good, but arrival in Abu Dhabi at 00:40 followed by a 02:20 departure breaks up the night.
2. Aircraft can change: this deal is especially interesting because of the product mix, so always expand “View info” on Skyscanner and confirm the aircraft and seat layout for every sector before booking.
3. December vs November: the December departures shown here use the four-product combination. On the November departures, the final AUH–CPH sector is scheduled on a 787 instead of the A321neo.
4. Business Value fare: the Etihad-direct price shown is the Business Value fare.
It includes the Business Class seat and 35 kg checked baggage, but does not include airport lounge access.
If you want lounge access, free seat selection, free Wi-Fi, UAE chauffeur and 40 kg checked baggage,
you would need to upgrade to Business Comfort on Etihad's website.
5. Lowest OTA vs airline: Flightnetwork / Bravofly may be cheaper, but the relatively small premium for Etihad direct is worth serious consideration.

Booking options
These are the providers to check first if you want the lowest price. The exact cheapest OTA can vary by date, so compare the vendor list on Skyscanner.
Check lowest fare →My preferred option. On the Skyscanner results page, find Etihad Airways in the vendor list and click it. Before booking, also expand “View info” for each sector and confirm the aircraft configuration: 787, A380, 777 and A321neo on the December dates. The fare shown is Business Value, so airport lounge access is not included. If you want lounge access and the extra Comfort benefits, upgrade the fare on Etihad's website.
Search and select Etihad →Hotel-night counts deduct the outbound night spent onboard. December departures are the ones to choose if you specifically want the four-product 787 + A380 + 777 + A321neo combination.
Excellent Bangkok Business Class pricing, strong December timing and one of the most interesting Etihad product combinations you can build on a single return ticket. The weaknesses are the very early 06:35 arrival into Bangkok, the overnight Abu Dhabi connection on the way home, and the fact that the Etihad-direct price shown is Business Value, which does not include airport lounge access.

Bangkok is huge, so hotel location matters much more here than simply choosing the cheapest property. For most first-time visitors I would focus on Sukhumvit, Silom / Sathorn, Siam, Riverside or the Old Town, depending on whether you want nightlife, shopping, easy transport, river views or temples.
Bangkok has everything from excellent-value design hotels to luxury riverfront properties. My priority would be easy BTS / MRT access, strong recent reviews and a location that matches your plans.
Where to stay in Bangkok
For a first trip, I would usually choose Sukhumvit, Silom / Sathorn or Siam. If the hotel itself is part of the experience, the Riverside is much harder to beat.
How long to stay + suggested trip
I would normally spend 3–4 nights in Bangkok. That gives you enough time for the main temples, food, markets, rooftop bars and a slower day without feeling rushed. With the longer date combinations, I would definitely add a second destination.
Where to go next
Chiang Mai
Temples, food, mountains and a slower pace. One of the easiest city combinations with Bangkok.
Krabi / Ao Nang
Easy beach extension with dramatic limestone scenery and plenty of island day trips.
Phuket
Simple flight connections, lots of hotels and a huge choice of beaches, restaurants and tours.
Koh Samui
More resort-focused and usually more expensive to reach, but a very easy luxury-beach add-on.
Ayutthaya
Easy historical day trip or overnight from Bangkok if you do not want to add another flight.
For the 13-night reference trip, my favourite simple structure would be Bangkok → Chiang Mai → one beach destination. It gives you city, culture and beach without turning the holiday into constant packing and airport transfers.
Airport + practical notes
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is east of central Bangkok.
A taxi to the main hotel areas will often take around 35–60 minutes,
but in heavy traffic it can take considerably longer.
The Airport Rail Link is often the quickest option into the city during busy periods,
especially if your hotel is convenient for Phaya Thai or an onward BTS / MRT connection.
The reference Etihad flight arrives at 06:35.
That gives you most of the first day, but normal hotel check-in may still be several hours away,
so it is worth asking whether the hotel offers luggage storage or paid / complimentary early check-in.
Useful Bangkok tips
Choose hotels near the BTS Skytrain or MRT whenever possible — it can save a lot of time. For taxis, use the meter or a reputable ride-hailing app rather than agreeing to inflated tourist-zone prices. Dress appropriately for temples, carry some cash for markets and smaller restaurants, and avoid trying to fit too many neighbourhoods into the same day because crossing Bangkok can take longer than expected.
