Delhi
from €1,470 return
About this deal
I found Luxembourg to Delhi from €1,470 return directly with Finnair.
The long-haul Helsinki–Delhi flights use Finnair's A330 Business Class with a 1-2-1 layout,
full-flat seats and direct aisle access.
There is one important catch: the cheapest fare is Business Light.
It includes 12 kg total carry-on, but no checked bag, no lounge access
and no priority airport benefits. Adding one 23 kg checked bag costs €165 return,
bringing the total to about €1,635.
Finnair's Business Classic is around €1,799.31 return.
That is the option I would seriously consider here because the reference trip has a
4h35 connection in Helsinki on the way out. Classic includes checked baggage,
lounge access and priority benefits, so the extra cost actually gives you something useful on this itinerary.
I found cheaper dates too, but I left out the ones with an overnight connection in Helsinki on the return.
I would rather show fewer dates that I would actually consider booking.

What are you actually getting?
€1,470 for Business Light with no checked baggage.
About €1,635 for Business Light after adding one 23 kg checked bag.
About €1,799 for Business Classic with checked baggage, lounge and priority benefits.
There are more dates, and some are even cheaper, but several require an overnight connection in Helsinki on the return. I have not included those in the prepared date list.
Which fare would I choose?
Best if you travel light and mainly care about the seat. You still get the full-flat Business Class product on the long-haul sectors, but no checked bag, no lounge access and no priority airport benefits.
Check Business Light →This costs more, but the upgrade is easier to justify here. Finnair's fare screen shows 2 × 32 kg checked bags, plus lounge access, priority security where available and priority check-in/boarding. With the long Helsinki connection, I would actually use the lounge.
Check Business Classic →Availability is quite limited once the overnight Helsinki returns are removed. These are the cleaner options I found.
The seat is excellent and the price is strong, but the cheapest fare is very bare-bones and the good dates are scarce. I also left out the cheaper itineraries that require an overnight in Helsinki.

Delhi hotel guide
The reference trip arrives in Delhi on 12 February 2027 and flies home on 22 February, giving you 10 hotel nights. I would not book all 10 nights in Delhi from day one. I would lock in the first few nights and the final night with free cancellation, then use the middle of the trip for Agra, Jaipur or another part of northern India.
For a first visit, I would prioritise location and recent reviews over chasing the absolute cheapest room. Book something with free cancellation, keep Karma active, and compare the exact same room and conditions again before the cancellation deadline.
💰 Dino hotel booking method
Find 3–5 hotels in the area you actually want. In Delhi I would pay particular attention to recent cleanliness, noise and location reviews rather than just the overall score.
Once you have a room you like, let Karma check whether another seller has the same room for less. Do not switch unless the conditions really match.
Compare the final total again before paying. If the price difference is small, I would usually choose the booking option with the clearest cancellation terms.
⏳ How many nights would I actually stay in Delhi?
Enough time for Old Delhi, New Delhi and one more relaxed day without turning everything into a race.
Better if you want time for food, markets and neighbourhoods as well as the main sights.
I would use the extra time to see more of northern India rather than keeping one Delhi hotel for the whole stay.
With the return flight leaving at 07:50, I would definitely be back in Delhi the night before departure.
📍 Best areas to stay
My easiest all-round choice for a first visit. Central, well connected and convenient for restaurants and getting around.
Good if you prefer a calmer base and do not mind being farther from Old Delhi. Areas around Hauz Khas and Greater Kailash are worth comparing.
Best for the final night before the early flight, or if you value convenience more than being in the middle of the sightseeing areas.
Very convenient for some travellers and often cheaper, but this is where I would be most careful with recent reviews and exact street location.
🌎 What I would do with the other nights
The obvious add-on for the Taj Mahal. I would rather stay one night than try to squeeze everything into a rushed same-day return.
A natural continuation from Agra and one of the easiest ways to turn this into a proper Golden Triangle trip.
A good option if you want to extend beyond the classic Golden Triangle and do not mind adding another internal journey.
With 10 nights, I would not prepay every hotel immediately. Keep refundable bookings until the route between cities is settled.
⚠️ Delhi practical survival kit
Delhi is huge. Saving a little on the room can cost you a lot of time if you choose the wrong area.
For an early departure, I would either stay near the airport or arrange the transfer the night before rather than improvising at 04:00.
I would only pay extra for hotel breakfast if the reviews are good. Delhi has too much food to make a mediocre buffet essential.
They are often more useful than the polished hotel gallery, particularly for budget and mid-range properties.
Delhi is easy to explore independently, but an Old Delhi food tour, a private city day, or a properly organised Taj Mahal trip can be worth looking at if you want to save planning time.
