The long-haul Brussels → Nairobi sectors use the Airbus A330
with a fully flat Business Class seat
in an unusual 2-2-1 layout.
Seat privacy and direct aisle access vary by seat position,
so this is not an equally private cabin for every passenger.
The Stockholm → Brussels sectors are European Business Class
with the adjacent seat kept unoccupied.

Business Light fare details
The A330 long-haul cabin is fully flat, but this is not a uniform all-aisle-access layout. Depending on the exact row and seat, privacy and aisle access can vary considerably. That makes seat selection more important than on a standard 1-2-1 cabin.
Rebooking is permitted for a fee plus any fare difference, but the Business Light fare is not refundable. Always check the final fare conditions before payment.
Booking options
This was the lowest reference fare when checked. Use the prepared Skyscanner link below to open the reference dates.
CHECK 11 NOV – 23 NOV →Brussels Airlines was selectable directly from the Skyscanner results. The difference was only around €75 on the reference trip, so booking direct is worth considering for simpler after-sales support.
Seven prepared date combinations were found across October, November and early December 2026. The 11–23 November trip is the reference option used for the pricing above.
The reference fare was €1,499 with Flightnetwork and around €1,574 directly with Brussels Airlines when checked. Compare the final price and fare conditions before paying.
A very strong Business Class fare to East Africa: sub-€1,500 pricing, fully flat long-haul seats, excellent baggage allowance and sensible connection times. The unusual 2-2-1 layout is interesting, but it is less consistent for privacy and aisle access than a modern 1-2-1 cabin.

Nairobi hotel playbook
The reference Brussels Airlines itinerary arrives in Nairobi on 11 November 2026 at 21:15 and leaves on 23 November at 23:40 That gives you 12 hotel nights in Nairobi For a stay this long I would prioritise a secure well-reviewed hotel in a practical neighbourhood and strongly consider splitting the trip with a safari national park or another Kenyan destination
Nairobi is very spread out
and hotel location can make a huge difference
I would prioritise Westlands, Karen, Gigiri or Kilimani
depending on your plans
and choose a property with strong recent reviews
reliable transport
and good security

Dino hotel booking method
Find 3–5 hotels in the area you actually want For Nairobi pay close attention to recent reviews cleanliness security road access airport transfer reliability room type breakfast cancellation terms and the final stay total
Once you have a room you like let Karma check whether another seller has the same room for less Do not switch unless the room guest count breakfast cancellation policy taxes payment conditions and airport-transfer details really match
Before paying search the same hotel and dates on Trivago and compare the final stay total one more time If the saving is small I would usually choose the option with clearer conditions better support or the booking platform I trust more
How many hotel nights?
Check in 11 November
Check out 23 November
Arrival at 21:15
Pre-arrange a trusted airport transfer rather than improvising on arrival
Twelve nights is enough time to combine Nairobi with a safari national park or another Kenyan destination
Departure at 23:40
Consider luggage storage or a late checkout for the final day
Best areas to stay
Westlands
Best all-round option for many visitors with hotels restaurants malls nightlife and good access to business areas
Kilimani
Popular for apartments cafés restaurants and longer stays with a more residential feel
Gigiri
Quieter highly secure and useful for travellers visiting the UN area embassies or diplomatic districts
Karen
Greener quieter and better for attractions such as the Giraffe Centre Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Park access
How I would use the 12-night stay
Use the first few days for Westlands museums restaurants the Giraffe Centre and Nairobi National Park
With 12 nights you have enough time for a proper multi-night safari rather than trying to squeeze everything into a rushed day trip
A strong alternative or second safari stop especially if elephants open landscapes and Kilimanjaro views appeal to you
Add Lake Naivasha for a shorter escape or use the second half of the trip for Mombasa Diani or another coastal destination
Dangers + what to look out for
Nairobi has many excellent hotels and is visited safely by large numbers of travellers but security and transport choices matter more here than in many European city-break destinations
Avoid accepting random rides from strangers especially late at night Use hotel transfers recognised taxis or reputable ride-hailing services
Keep phones cameras wallets and bags secure in crowded areas traffic markets and when standing near open vehicle windows
Even if a destination looks close on the map use reliable transport after dark particularly in unfamiliar areas
Look for controlled entry security staff good lighting secure parking and recent guest comments about feeling safe
Be cautious with payment requests outside the booking platform unexpected WhatsApp messages and requests to transfer money directly
Check the exact hotel location because "central Nairobi" can still mean long travel times in traffic
Use repellent keep windows screened when possible and check current health guidance before travelling
Choose well-reviewed restaurants use sealed or reliably treated drinking water and be cautious with food that has been sitting unrefrigerated
Practical booking notes
Your flight arrives in Nairobi at 21:15 so arrange a hotel transfer recognised taxi or reputable ride-hailing pickup before arrival
Traffic can change journey times dramatically so choose your hotel around the areas you actually plan to visit rather than distance alone
Compare taxes breakfast cancellation terms airport transfers deposits and payment timing rather than only the nightly rate
Your return flight leaves Nairobi at 23:40 so ask about luggage storage a day room or paid late checkout for the final day
For a longer Kenya trip I would prioritise activities where transport permits or local organisation genuinely save you time
