Seoul
from €1,430 return
About this deal
I found China Southern Business Class from Madrid to Seoul from about €1,430 return, with the reference trip running 19–30 November 2026.
Rumbo was the cheapest option I found at around €1,430 return, while Trip.com was around €1,510 return. I was hesitant at first because the OTA fares were dramatically below the airline-direct pricing I was seeing, so I tested both booking paths myself and went all the way to the payment page on Rumbo and Trip.com. Neither fare increased before payment.
The reference itinerary is particularly attractive because three of the four sectors are operated by Boeing 787s with 1-2-1 full-flat Business Class seating and direct aisle access. The only narrow-body sector is Seoul to Guangzhou on the return, shown on an A321neo with a 2-2 recliner Business Class cabin.
The fare includes 2 × 32 kg checked baggage. Because this is an unusually low OTA Business Class fare, after paying I would wait for official ticketing confirmation / an issued e-ticket number before proceeding with non-refundable hotels, positioning flights or other trip planning.

Fare, seat and booking details
The gap between the OTA fares and airline-direct pricing was large enough that I did not want to publish this based only on a Skyscanner result. I continued through the booking process on both Rumbo and Trip.com until the payment page. The prices still held at roughly €1,430 and €1,510 return respectively, with Business Class still shown.
Even though the fare survives to the payment page, this is still an unusually low third-party Business Class price. If you book it, I would wait until you receive official ticketing confirmation / an issued e-ticket number before booking non-refundable hotels, positioning flights, tours or making other firm trip arrangements.
The reference date shows Guangzhou → Seoul on a Boeing 787 with 1-2-1 full-flat seating, but some of the other prepared dates show an Airbus A330 with a 2-2-2 Business Class configuration on this sector. Before booking, open “View info” on the Skyscanner itinerary and check the aircraft and seat layout for your exact date. In the dates I checked, Seoul → Guangzhou consistently appeared on an A321neo, so do not expect a full-flat 787 seat on that return regional sector.
Booking options
This was the cheapest option on the reference search. I followed the booking flow all the way to the payment stage and the fare remained at roughly €1,430 with Business Class still shown.
Check the reference fare →Trip.com was around €80 more on the reference search. I also continued through to the payment page there and the price held at roughly €1,510. If you prefer Trip.com, the premium over Rumbo is relatively small compared with the total ticket value.
Compare booking options →I would choose between Rumbo and Trip.com based on the final conditions you are comfortable with, then take screenshots of the fare, cabin and baggage before payment. Once paid, wait for the airline ticket to be officially issued before committing money to the rest of the trip.
The lowest OTA fares were generally around €1,430–1,510 return when checked. Aircraft can vary by date, particularly on Guangzhou → Seoul, so use Skyscanner’s View info before booking.
The price and long-haul seat are the stars here. Three of the four reference sectors are on 787s with 1-2-1 full-flat Business Class, the fare includes 2 × 32 kg checked baggage, and both Rumbo and Trip.com retained the low price through to payment. The trade-offs are the 5h05 return connection, the A321neo regional sector and the extra caution required when an OTA fare sits so far below airline-direct pricing.

Seoul hotel playbook
The reference Business Class trip leaves Madrid on 19 November 2026 and arrives in Seoul at 13:15 on 20 November. The return flight leaves Seoul at 16:15 on 30 November. That gives you 10 normal hotel nights: 20 through 29 November. The arrival time is very manageable. By the time you clear immigration, collect your baggage and travel into Seoul, you should be close to normal afternoon hotel check-in.
Seoul is enormous. Saving a small amount on the room can be a false economy if you spend the entire trip crossing the city. I would choose the area first, then compare hotels based on transport, room size, recent reviews and cancellation terms. Start on Booking.com, keep Karma active, and compare the exact same room before paying.
💰 Dino hotel booking method
Decide whether you want maximum sightseeing convenience, nightlife, traditional neighbourhoods or modern Seoul. The right area will save you a lot of travelling time.
A hotel close to a useful Metro station can be more valuable than one that looks slightly more central on a map.
Compare the complete stay total, breakfast, cancellation policy, room size and payment terms. Then check whether Karma finds the same stay for less.
⏳ How many hotel nights?
Check in on 20 November and check out on 30 November. That covers the nights of 20 through 29 November.
The flight arrives at 13:15. After immigration, baggage collection and the transfer into Seoul, you should be close to normal check-in time.
The return flight leaves at 16:15. Check out normally, leave luggage with the hotel if necessary and then head to Incheon Airport.
Ten nights is long enough for small nightly differences to become significant. Compare the total stay, not just the headline nightly rate.
📍 Best areas to stay in Seoul
One of the easiest choices for a first visit. Central, convenient for sightseeing, shopping, restaurants and excellent public transport connections.
Younger, livelier and packed with cafés, restaurants, bars and nightlife. A strong choice if you want energy rather than quiet.
Excellent for palaces, traditional streets, temples and historic Seoul. A very good base if sightseeing is the priority.
Modern, polished and full of restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Great if you specifically want southern Seoul, but less convenient for some historic sights.
🌎 How I would use a 10-night Seoul stay
Give yourself time for the palaces, Bukchon, Insadong and the traditional side of the city without trying to squeeze everything into one day.
Seoul deserves several relaxed evenings dedicated simply to restaurants, street food, cafés and markets.
Keep time for Gangnam, Hongdae and other modern parts of Seoul. The city changes dramatically from one district to another.
With 10 nights, you can comfortably include at least one excursion outside central Seoul without making the trip feel rushed.
✈️ Where to go next from Seoul
Seoul is also one of Asia's best starting points for extending the trip. If you have extra time, these are four cities I would look at first.
Tokyo · Japan
A natural two-country combination with frequent air connections and a completely different big-city experience.
Taipei · Taiwan
Excellent food, night markets, easy transport and a compact city that works very well as a short extension after Seoul.
Hong Kong
Skyline, food, hiking and dense city energy make it a strong contrast after a longer Seoul stay.
Shanghai · China
Another major Asian city with a very different atmosphere, architecture and food scene.
⚠️ Seoul practical survival kit
Seoul's Metro network is extensive and usually the easiest way to move around the city. Staying near a useful station can save a huge amount of time.
Public transport does not operate all night. If you stay out late, check your return options before the final trains finish.
Bring proper layers and a warm jacket. The temperature can feel very different from Madrid once the sun disappears.
Save the hotel name and address on your phone. Having the Korean address available can be useful for taxis and navigation.
Cards are widely useful, but I would still keep a second card and a small amount of cash separate.
Mobile data makes Seoul much easier. Maps, translation, transport information and restaurant searches are useful throughout the trip.
Incheon Airport is outside central Seoul. Do not treat it like a city-centre airport when planning your departure day.
Police: 112. Fire and ambulance: 119. Save them before travelling.
Ten nights gives you plenty of time to explore Seoul independently while still adding food experiences, palace visits, day trips and excursions outside the city.
A few useful extras chosen with premium-cabin travellers in mind — from quality carry-on luggage and reliable mobile data to travel rewards that can add extra value before, during and after the flight.
A much better fit for premium-cabin travel: sleek hard-shell luggage
designed for frequent flyers, short business trips and smooth airport
handling.
