Direct flights from Dublin to Toronto, CANADA for €295 with WestJet!

Travel period
August 2026

Direct Dublin to Toronto from €295 on WestJet with cabin baggage included — a sharp transatlantic nonstop when you want Canada on the itinerary without burning half a day on a London or European hub change. Board at Dublin (DUB), land at Toronto Pearson (YYZ) in roughly seven and a half hours, and step straight into one of North America's most liveable big cities: CN Tower views over Lake Ontario, Kensington Market food crawls, island-ferry afternoons, Distillery District evenings, and easy side trips toward Niagara when you are ready to leave town.

Dino found sale dates in August 2026 — peak Canadian summer when the waterfront is buzzing, patios are full, and festival season is in full swing, yet this fare still undercuts what many travellers pay after adding a connection. The ticket bundles cabin baggage in the base price, so your carry-on is covered at €295 without an extra bag fee on top — perfect for a long weekend if you pack light. Where available, Canadian preclearance at Dublin can mean you land in Toronto like a domestic arrival and walk out faster — one of the quiet perks of flying Canada direct from Ireland rather than routing through the UK.

Checked luggage is not always included on WestJet sale tiers, so add a hold bag in the booking flow if you need a full suitcase. Confirm the flight is still nonstop on your dates, WestJet cabin-bag size limits, fare rules, and Canada eTA or visa requirements for your passport before you pay. At €295 direct with carry-on included, this is serious value for a summer hop across the Atlantic — just book before the best August dates disappear.

Dino Score 8.9 out of 10

An excellent direct transatlantic fare with practical schedules and cabin baggage included.

Dino Verdict

A simple and genuinely attractive direct deal to Toronto

Direct return flights from Dublin to Toronto are available from just €295 with WestJet.

The fare includes cabin baggage and avoids the connections, self-transfers and long airport waits often attached to similarly priced transatlantic tickets.

The outbound flight arrives in Toronto during the afternoon, providing enough time to reach your accommodation comfortably and enjoy the first evening.

The return operates overnight and arrives in Dublin the following morning, using the travel time efficiently without requiring an additional hotel night.

Availability is concentrated around late August and early September, with several useful trip lengths suitable for a city break, visiting friends and family or combining Toronto with another Canadian destination.

Price 9.5/10

Under €300 return is an excellent price for direct transatlantic flights, even without checked baggage.

Routing 10/10

Both flights are nonstop, eliminating connection risks, airport transfers and unnecessary travel time.

Schedules 9.2/10

The afternoon arrival in Toronto and overnight return to Dublin make efficient use of the travel days.

Availability 8.4/10

Several late-August and early-September options are available, with useful stays ranging from six to eleven nights.

Airline and comfort 7.8/10

WestJet offers a straightforward economy product. The onboard experience may be basic, but the direct routing is a major comfort advantage.

Baggage 7.2/10

Cabin baggage is included, but travellers who need a checked suitcase must add the extra cost before comparing the final fare.

Why this deal stands out

Many transatlantic fares below €300 involve poor connections, separate tickets or restrictive personal-item-only baggage rules.

This deal offers direct flights in both directions and includes cabin baggage, making it significantly more practical than the headline price initially suggests.

Checked baggage is not included

Confirm whether the fare includes both a full cabin trolley and a separate personal item, as well as the exact size and weight limits.

Travellers who need a checked suitcase should calculate the total price after adding baggage in both directions before booking.

Also review seat-selection charges, onboard meal inclusions, fare-change conditions and Canadian entry requirements.

Best for: light packers, shorter Toronto visits, couples, solo travellers and anyone who strongly prefers direct flights.

Less ideal for: families or travellers who require one or more checked suitcases.

Dino’s advice: compare the cabin-baggage fare with WestJet’s checked-baggage option. If the total remains competitive, the direct routing makes this an especially strong choice.

Where to stay in Toronto: budget carefully for accommodation

The flights may be very affordable, but accommodation is likely to represent the largest part of your Toronto travel budget.

For our sample search from 28 August to 5 September, the average price for a well-rated 3 or 4-star hotel in a central location was around €300 per night.

Even when travelling as a couple, that works out at around €150 per person per night. Over an eight-night trip, accommodation can therefore cost considerably more than the flights themselves.

Staying directly in Downtown Toronto offers the greatest convenience for attractions, restaurants and nightlife, but it is not always the best-value option. Travellers may find more manageable prices by looking beyond the immediate city centre.

Consider neighbourhoods with good public-transport connections, such as North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke or selected areas along the subway and GO Transit network. A slightly longer journey into Downtown can produce meaningful savings over a stay of several nights.

Serviced apartments and accommodation with a kitchen may also help reduce the overall trip cost, particularly for couples or longer stays. However, always check whether cleaning fees, deposits, taxes or other mandatory charges are included in the displayed total.

Dino tip: compare the saving against the daily transport cost and travel time. A cheaper property is only worthwhile when it remains well connected and allows you to reach the areas you plan to visit without complicated transfers.
