Reykjavík
from €93 return
About this deal
A very strong winter fare from Gdańsk to Reykjavík with Icelandair, with useful availability from October through March.
The reference itinerary is 5–9 February 2027, which I prefer over the Christmas dates because it keeps the winter / Northern Lights appeal without the holiday closures and inflated ground costs that can make Iceland harder to plan over Christmas.
The cheapest seller was around €93 return via Skyscanner → Gotogate, while Icelandair itself was around €108. For only about €15 more, I would choose Icelandair direct. You can still enter through Skyscanner and simply select Icelandair from the list of vendors.
Cheapest: ~€93 Gotogate
Airline direct: ~€108 Icelandair
Routing: nonstop both ways
Outbound: 12:50 → 15:50
Return: 07:20 → 11:55
Reference flight schedule
Icelandair FI553 · nonstop · 4h
A very civilised departure from Gdańsk. You arrive at Keflavík at 15:50, so February daylight will be fading, but unlike the Christmas reference you avoid holiday closures and still arrive early enough for an evening in Reykjavík.
Icelandair FI552 · nonstop · 3h35
The weakness is the 07:20 departure from Keflavík. KEF is outside Reykjavík, so expect a very early airport transfer. That is the main schedule compromise on an otherwise excellent fare.

The cheapest fare was around €93 return via Gotogate. Skyscanner also showed Icelandair at around €108. Because the direct-airline premium is only about €15, I would select Icelandair from the seller list.
Open Skyscanner seller list →Why February is the reference
February still gives you a proper winter trip and Northern Lights season, but with more useful daylight than December and no Christmas Eve / Christmas Day closures to plan around.
This is not a one-date flash sale. There are useful combinations throughout autumn and winter, which makes the deal much easier to use.
Ground-cost warning: the airfare is the cheap part of Iceland. Hotels, restaurants, tours and airport transfers can easily cost several times the flight price. Budget the complete trip before booking.
Baggage: baggage allowance depends on the fare family shown by the selected seller. Check the live fare conditions before payment rather than assuming the cheapest ticket includes checked baggage.
Booking options
The lowest price when checked. Fine if every euro matters, but the saving versus Icelandair direct is tiny.
Check Gotogate fare →For only about €15 more, I would book with Icelandair. Open the same Skyscanner result and choose Icelandair from the list of sellers for direct airline support.
Open Skyscanner and select Icelandair →On a winter Iceland trip, weather disruption is always possible. When the difference is only about €15, dealing directly with Icelandair is worth far more than the tiny saving.
Compare sellers →Availability is unusually broad for such a cheap winter fare, running from late October through early March. February is the reference because it offers the best balance of winter atmosphere, Northern Lights potential and practical sightseeing.
Outstanding — a genuinely excellent winter fare when you book the right dates. The price, direct routing, broad availability and tiny premium for Icelandair direct are excellent. The early return and Iceland's ground costs are the main reasons it does not score even higher.

Dino hotel guide · Reykjavík
Iceland is famous for its landscapes — and also for being expensive once you are on the ground. For this search I focused on well-rated properties that include breakfast. A substantial breakfast can make a real difference on a four-night trip because it reduces the need to buy another full meal every morning.
Hotel price proof
This screenshot is the exact example used for the hotel recommendation. Booking.com showed Alva Hotel Brautarholt at around €740 total for 4 nights / 2 adults with breakfast included, while the Karma browser extension surfaced the same stay from around €443 total via Agoda.
Price proof only: hotel prices are dynamic and can change quickly. Use the screenshot as evidence of the saving we found when checked, then repeat the same Booking.com + Karma workflow for your own dates before paying.
Why breakfast matters in Iceland
Iceland is one of those destinations where the airfare can be the cheapest part of the holiday.
Restaurants, cafés and even simple lunches can add up quickly.
Choosing accommodation with breakfast included gives you one predictable meal every day
and makes it much easier to keep lunch simple when you are out on a day trip.
For a couple travelling four nights, that can make a noticeable difference to the final trip cost.
Exactly how to use Booking.com + Karma
The easiest method is to browse the hotel on Booking.com with Karma active. Karma reads the exact dates and property you are looking at, then shows whether the same stay is cheaper through another booking portal. In this example, Booking.com showed around €740 while Karma surfaced an Agoda option at around €443.
Use the free browser extension and keep it active.
Use the button below and enter the same dates and number of guests.
If Karma finds a cheaper version of the same stay, it will appear automatically.
Make sure the room, breakfast, dates, cancellation rules and taxes really match.
If the cheaper rate is suitable, book through the portal Karma opens rather than searching that portal independently.
Important: the €443 result shown here came through Karma’s live comparison. Hotel prices change quickly, so treat it as a proof-of-concept rather than a guaranteed fixed price.
Where to stay in Reykjavík
How long should you stay?
Four nights is enough for Reykjavík itself plus two strong day trips. I would not try to drive the entire Ring Road on this itinerary. In February, weather and daylight matter more, so it is better to do fewer things properly and keep some flexibility.
Best side trips from Reykjavík
Dino 4-night plan: Reykjavík on arrival evening, Golden Circle on day 2, South Coast on day 3, then keep day 4 lighter for the city / Sky Lagoon and use the best available evening for a Northern Lights tour.
Winter safety and practical precautions
GetYourGuide Reykjavík
GetYourGuide is especially useful here for comparing Golden Circle tours, South Coast excursions, Northern Lights trips, Sky Lagoon / Blue Lagoon transfers, whale watching and airport transfers. In winter, an organised day tour can be worth paying for simply because you do not have to worry about driving conditions.
