Where to stay in Phuket
November marks the beginning of the high season in Phuket, so hotel prices are already adjusted to stronger demand. Even so, Phuket remains very good value compared with many other beach destinations, especially if you are looking for a comfortable 4 or 5-star stay.
For our sample dates from 14/11 to 22/11, we found several well-rated 4 and 5-star hotels starting from around €70 per night, which is excellent value for the start of Phuket’s peak travel season.
Our pick is the Chanalai Garden Resort, a 4-star hotel rated 8.5, located in Kata Beach. It was showing from around €77 per night, which works out at only €38.50 per person per night when travelling as a couple.
Kata Beach can be a very good base if you want a more relaxed Phuket stay, with beach access, restaurants, sunset spots and easier access to nearby areas such as Karon and Patong. For this price level, the overall hotel value looks very strong.
