Dino picked itineraries with acceptable arrival and departure times both ways — sensible hours into Dubai (DXB), not a brutal red-eye that wrecks your first day.

Dubai is Burj Khalifa views, Old Dubai souks, desert dune dinners, beach clubs, and a stopover hub that works as a destination in its own right — or the launchpad for Asia, the Indian Ocean, and beyond. Dino found this fare in September 2026 and especially likes departures towards the end of the month, when the worst of summer heat eases and outdoor dining, rooftop bars, and evening walks become genuinely pleasant again. A strong direct Emirates deal from Munich to Dubai

Direct return flights from Munich to Dubai are available from around €617 with Emirates. The fare includes 25 kg checked baggage, cabin baggage, onboard meals and the full-service Emirates experience.

The flights are direct in both directions, avoiding connections and long airport waits. The selected itinerary departs Munich at 15:40 and lands in Dubai at 23:40. The return leaves Dubai at 08:50 and arrives in Munich at 13:15.

The flight times are not perfect because the arrival in Dubai is late and the return requires an early start. However, the direct routing, strong airline, generous baggage allowance and wide choice of dates make this a very good overall package.

However, Dino does not recommend Dubai during the hottest summer months unless the trip is focused almost entirely on resorts, pools, shopping and indoor attractions. Temperatures can be extreme, with very high humidity and uncomfortable conditions for outdoor sightseeing.

Late September and early October are still hot, but they are a more sensible compromise between affordable flight prices and gradually improving weather. Plan outdoor activities for early morning or evening and use the hottest part of the day for indoor attractions.

Recommended dates: 22/09–29/09, 24/09–29/09, 24/09–01/10, 27/09–01/10, 27/09–05/10, 30/09–05/10 and 30/09–07/10.

Best for: Emirates fans, direct-flight travellers, couples, luxury-hotel stays, pool and beach holidays, shopping trips and travellers comfortable with hot weather.

That works out at only around €30 per person per night when travelling as a couple, making it possible to combine the direct Emirates fare with a comfortable hotel without pushing the overall trip cost too high.

Good-value areas to compare include Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha and Business Bay. For beaches, nightlife and resort-style stays, also compare Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence and Palm Jumeirah, although these areas are often more expensive.
