Strong value for a full-service trip from Stockholm to Nairobi
Return flights from Stockholm to Nairobi are available from approximately €405, with prices around 4,500–4,900 SEK depending on the selected travel supplier.
The flights are operated by Brussels Airlines with one protected connection in Brussels in each direction. There is no self-transfer, airport change or need to collect and recheck baggage during the connection when booked as one itinerary.
A typical outbound itinerary leaves Stockholm at approximately 06:30, connects in Brussels for around 1 hour and 40 minutes and arrives in Nairobi at around 20:40.
The return generally departs Nairobi in the late evening and reaches Stockholm around midday the following day. Some combinations include a Brussels connection of approximately three to four hours.
The exact departure times and connection lengths may differ slightly between dates, but the available options follow a broadly similar routing and avoid exceptionally long or complicated layovers.
Availability is strong across September, October, November and early December, providing several practical stays ranging from approximately eight nights to almost three weeks.
Return fares from Scandinavia to East Africa can often be
considerably higher, particularly when travelling on a protected

travel dates and manageable connection times at a very competitive
price.

Check whether the selected ticket includes a full cabin bag and
checked baggage before completing the purchase. The cheapest agency
fare may use different conditions from the price offered directly by
Brussels Airlines.
Compare the final price after baggage, seat selection, payment fees
and other optional services have been added. When the difference is
modest, booking directly with Brussels Airlines may provide simpler
assistance if the flight schedule changes.
Best for: travellers looking for a competitively priced full-service itinerary from Stockholm to Nairobi with one protected connection.
Less ideal for: travellers who want a later outbound departure or strongly prefer a very short connection on the return.
Dino’s advice: compare the lowest agency fare with the approximately 4,850 SEK price shown directly by Brussels Airlines. Paying slightly more may be worthwhile if it provides clearer baggage conditions and easier support.

Where to stay in Nairobi: begin your trip with a comfortable city stay
Nairobi offers a wide range of accommodation, from modern business hotels and serviced apartments to stylish boutique properties and international hotel brands.
For our sample search from 3 September to 5 September, well-rated 4-star hotels were available from approximately €80 per night.
When travelling as a couple, this works out at around €40 per person per night, making it possible to begin the journey with a comfortable stay without adding too much to the overall trip budget.
Spending the first two nights in Nairobi can be a practical way to recover from the flight, become familiar with the city and organise the next stage of your journey before heading into the national parks or beginning a longer safari itinerary.
Nairobi also has several attractions worth visiting before leaving the capital, including the Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park and a growing selection of restaurants, cafés and shopping areas.
Location is especially important when choosing accommodation. Areas such as Westlands, Karen, Gigiri and selected parts of Kilimani are popular with international visitors, but prices and travel times can vary considerably depending on traffic and the location of your planned activities.
If your safari operator provides a pickup, check where the transfer begins before confirming your hotel. A property close to the meeting point may save considerable time on the morning of departure.
Dino tip: compare the room rate together with airport transfers, breakfast, security arrangements and the distance from the places you plan to visit. A slightly more expensive hotel in a convenient location may provide better overall value than a cheaper property requiring lengthy daily journeys through Nairobi traffic.
