Singapore
from €519 return
About this deal
This is one of the stronger long-haul fares I have seen from Tirana: British Airways to Singapore with one Heathrow connection and the A380 operating the London–Singapore long-haul sectors on the prepared dates checked.
Economy Basic ranges from €519–€523 return and includes hand/cabin baggage but no checked bag. The fare I would actually recommend is Economy Standard at €579–€583 return, because it adds 1 × 23kg checked bag and free seat selection from 24 hours before departure.
The reference itinerary is 13–23 January 2027. Because the outbound arrives the following day, that gives you 9 hotel nights in Singapore. Aircraft assignments can always change, so recheck the A380 before payment if that is important to you.
Booking: British Airways direct
Baggage: 23kg checked + hand/cabin baggage
Long-haul aircraft: British Airways A380
Destination stay: 9 hotel nights
Basic alternative: €519–€523, no checked bag
Typical flight schedule
British Airways · 1 stop
Tirana 12:55 → London Heathrow 15:15
Connection: 3h30
London Heathrow 18:45 → Singapore 16:05+1
Total journey: 20h10. The long-haul LHR→SIN sector is scheduled on the British Airways A380 on the dates checked.
British Airways · 1 stop
Singapore 23:15 → London Heathrow 05:45+1
Connection: 2h15
London Heathrow 08:00 → Tirana 12:05
Total journey: around 19h50. The SIN→LHR long-haul sector is also scheduled on the A380 on the dates checked.
Baggage + fare details
Across the prepared dates, Standard is roughly €60 more than Basic. For a Singapore trip, paying that difference for a 23kg checked bag is much better value than buying baggage separately later.
Aircraft can change. The A380 appears consistently on the London–Singapore sectors across the prepared dates checked, but always confirm the operating aircraft before payment if flying the A380 matters to you.
Fare proof + booking options
Best for travellers who genuinely do not need checked luggage. Includes hand/cabin baggage but no checked bag.
CHECK BASIC FARE →This is the fare I recommend. It includes 1 × 23kg checked bag plus hand/cabin baggage. The reference date was €579.
CHECK STANDARD FARE →
I found 21 prepared combinations from November 2026 through March 2027. Across these dates, Economy Basic is generally €519–€523 return and Economy Standard with a 23kg checked bag is generally €579–€583 return. Use the exact links below, then choose British Airways from the booking options.
A rare combination of strong Tirana pricing, broad availability, direct-airline booking and an A380 long-haul. Economy Standard at €579–€583 is the sweet spot: sensible Heathrow connections, a 23kg checked bag and a very wide choice of dates. Singapore's higher hotel costs are the main thing stopping the overall trip value from scoring even higher.

Singapore hotel playbook
The reference itinerary gives you 9 hotel nights in Singapore, arriving on 14 January 2027 and flying home on 23 January 2027. Singapore is one of the more expensive hotel markets in Southeast Asia, so location and transport matter a lot. For most first-time visitors I would use 4–5 nights in Singapore, then either slow the pace down or add a short nearby trip before returning for the flight home.
Start with the neighbourhood and MRT access, compare the final price for the same room and cancellation terms, then keep Karma switched on while browsing to see whether the same stay is cheaper elsewhere.
💰 Dino hotel booking method
Pick the neighbourhood and MRT access that fit your trip, then shortlist hotels with strong recent reviews.
Leave Karma active while browsing Booking.com so it can compare prices in the background.
If Karma finds nothing useful, do one final like-for-like comparison before paying.
⏳ How many nights in Singapore?
Enough for Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, hawker food and one or two central neighbourhoods.
A very good first visit with room for Sentosa, the Botanic Gardens or a slower food-focused day.
The best balance if you want the major sights without rushing and still want time to explore different neighbourhoods.
Great for a slow city break, but with a 9-night trip I would also consider adding nearby Malaysia or Indonesia.
📍 Best areas to stay in Singapore
One of the best all-round bases: central, easy MRT access and practical for both Marina Bay and the older neighbourhoods.
Excellent for food, atmosphere and transport, with plenty of mid-range hotels and easy access to the river and CBD.
The postcard location and extremely convenient, but usually the expensive choice. Best if the skyline experience is part of the trip.
Good for shopping, dining and transport, with lots of hotel choice and easy links across the city.
🚀 Easy side trips from Singapore
Malaysia 🇲🇾
Kuala Lumpur is the easiest city add-on, while Penang works brilliantly if food is a priority. Around 3–4 nights is enough for a short side trip.
Indonesia 🇮🇩
Jakarta is close, but Bali or nearby islands make more sense if you want to add beach time. Allow at least 3–4 nights.
Thailand 🇹🇭
Bangkok is an easy contrast to Singapore, with cheaper hotels, street food and plenty to do over 3–4 nights.
Vietnam 🇻🇳
Ho Chi Minh City is the simplest fit for a short extension and usually offers much lower hotel and food costs than Singapore.
⚠️ Singapore survival kit
Light clothing is essential, but bring something for heavily air-conditioned malls, trains and restaurants.
Public transport is excellent. Staying close to an MRT station can save both money and time throughout the trip.
Cards are widely accepted and public transport is easy to use, but keep a little cash for smaller food stalls and markets.
This is one of the easiest ways to keep daily costs under control while still eating very well.
Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, Sentosa, food tours, river cruises and wildlife attractions — browse first, then book only what genuinely improves your trip.
A few useful extras that can make the journey easier, particularly when travelling with restrictive cabin-bag fares, arriving late or needing mobile data as soon as you land.
A useful packing solution when you are trying to fit more clothing
into a restricted cabin bag.
Particularly relevant for travellers using airlines such as
Ryanair and Wizz Air, where baggage dimensions and
additional luggage fees can significantly change the final cost of a
cheap flight.
Compress your clothing and make better use of the space available
inside your luggage.
Arrive with mobile data ready and avoid searching for a local SIM
card or relying on airport Wi-Fi.

Particularly useful for
