Phuket
from €477 return
About this deal
This is exactly the kind of Thailand fare I like: €477–€485 return from Milan to Phuket with Oman Air, sensible Muscat connections and a fare that already includes the luggage most people will actually need.
The Economy Comfort fare includes a personal item, 1 × 7kg cabin bag, at least 1 × 20kg checked bag and meals. All prepared links below go directly to Trip.com, which is the booking channel used for this deal.
The reference itinerary is 29 November – 11 December 2026. Because the outbound lands on 30 November, that gives you 11 hotel nights in Thailand.
Booking: Trip.com
Baggage: 20kg checked + 7kg cabin + personal item
Meals: included
Connections: 2h45 in Muscat both ways
Destination stay: 11 hotel nights
Typical flight schedule
Oman Air · 1 stop
Milan Malpensa 21:05 → Muscat 06:15+1
Connection: 2h45
Muscat 09:00 → Phuket 18:10
Total journey: 15h05. A very clean long-haul schedule with no ugly overnight airport wait.
Oman Air · 1 stop
Phuket 08:40 → Muscat 12:10
Connection: 2h45
Muscat 14:55 → Milan Malpensa 19:05
Total journey: 16h25. The 08:40 departure is early, but the same-day 19:05 arrival back in Milan is very practical.
Baggage + fare details
Trip.com may display other economy fare packages. For the deal shown here, look specifically for Economy Comfort around €477–€485 and make sure the final booking page still shows the 20kg checked baggage allowance.
Always recheck the final fare rules. Prices are live and baggage conditions can vary by fare family. The deal is based on Economy Comfort as shown at publication.

CHECK REFERENCE FARE →
I found 7 prepared combinations from October 2026 through March 2027. The Economy Comfort fares were roughly €477–€485 return, with 20kg checked baggage included. Every button below opens the prepared Trip.com search directly.
Excellent Thailand value with the right things already included. €477–€485 is a strong Milan–Phuket fare, the Muscat connections are almost ideal, and Economy Comfort already includes checked and cabin baggage plus meals. Availability is good rather than extraordinary, but the overall package is difficult to criticise.

Phuket hotel playbook
The reference itinerary gives you 11 hotel nights, arriving in Phuket on 30 November 2026 and flying home on 11 December 2026. That is long enough to enjoy Phuket properly without rushing, but also gives you the option to split the trip with another beach or island base instead of staying in one resort for the entire holiday.
Start with the area and hotel style you actually want, compare the final price for the same room and conditions, then keep Karma switched on while browsing. For resort packages, always confirm that the cheaper result includes the same meal plan.
💰 Dino hotel booking method
Decide whether you want nightlife, a family beach, a quieter resort area or a more upmarket base before comparing hotel prices.
Browse your shortlist on Booking.com with Karma active so it can flag cheaper portals in the background.
Before chasing a lower price, confirm the room, guests, breakfast or meal plan, cancellation rules, taxes and final total all match.
⏳ How many nights in Phuket?
Enough for a short beach break with one island or Phang Nga Bay day trip, but you will need to keep moving.
A strong first visit with beach time, Old Phuket Town and two proper excursion days.
The best balance if Phuket is the main destination and you want time to relax rather than turn every day into an excursion.
Very comfortable, but I would usually split the stay and add Krabi, Khao Lak, Koh Yao or another island.
📍 Best areas to stay in Phuket
My easiest all-round recommendation for first-time visitors: good beaches, plenty of restaurants and a calmer feel than Patong without becoming isolated.
Best for nightlife, bars and sheer convenience. Very lively and very touristy — perfect for some travellers, completely wrong for others.
A quieter west-coast option with a relaxed beach, good resort choice and easy access to Patong when you want more activity.
More polished and resort-focused, with beach clubs, higher-end hotels and a good choice for couples or families wanting a quieter base.
🌎 Easy add-ons for an 11-night trip
A very natural 3–4 night extension with dramatic limestone scenery, beaches and a different atmosphere from Phuket.
Perfect if you want a quieter second beach base. It also works well for Similan Islands trips during the season.
An easy island escape between Phuket and Krabi with a much slower, less commercial feel. Great for 2–4 nights.
Better as a short 1–2 night stay than only a rushed day trip if you want to enjoy the islands after the crowds thin out.
⚠️ Phuket survival kit
You are moving into the drier season, but tropical showers can still happen. The upside is generally better beach weather than during the core monsoon months.
Traffic can be heavy and distances are deceptive. Check realistic airport-to-hotel and beach-to-beach times before booking.
Hotels and larger restaurants accept cards, but cash remains useful for markets, smaller restaurants, local transport and islands.
In areas packed with restaurants, breakfast-only can give you more freedom. All-inclusive makes more sense at isolated resorts where eating outside is inconvenient.
Phang Nga Bay, Phi Phi, island-hopping, Old Phuket Town, snorkelling and sunset cruises — browse first, then book only the experiences that genuinely improve your trip.
A few useful extras that can make the journey easier, particularly when travelling with restrictive cabin-bag fares, arriving late or needing mobile data as soon as you land.
A useful packing solution when you are trying to fit more clothing
into a restricted cabin bag.
Particularly relevant for travellers using airlines such as
Ryanair and Wizz Air, where baggage dimensions and
additional luggage fees can significantly change the final cost of a
cheap flight.
Compress your clothing and make better use of the space available
inside your luggage.
Arrive with mobile data ready and avoid searching for a local SIM
card or relying on airport Wi-Fi.

Pre-book your airport transfer before travelling.
Particularly useful for
late-night arrivals, families and travellers with luggage

or when arriving somewhere unfamiliar and you would rather have a
