The price is genuinely good, but this is not a perfect itinerary: the outbound includes a
4h55 connection in Casablanca and arrives in Lagos at 05:50.
If your priority is saving money, this is a strong option. When comparing alternatives,
Air France can offer a more polished overall journey for roughly €150 more,
so travellers who value schedule and comfort more than the lowest fare may prefer to pay the difference.
Italian passport holders should also arrange the required Nigerian visa before travel.

A genuinely good price with full-service basics included, but poor availability, an early Lagos arrival and a long outbound connection keep this firmly in the “save money first” category rather than making it the best overall package.

Lagos hotel playbook
The reference trip arrives in Lagos at 05:50 on 22 October 2026 and flies back to Milan at 06:45 on 29 October. That gives you 7 normal hotel nights: 22 through 28 October. The important catch is the arrival time: standard hotel check-in is usually much later, so I would contact the hotel before booking and either arrange guaranteed early check-in or, if you want the room immediately after landing, consider booking the night of 21 October as well.
Traffic can make a big difference to the trip. Start on Booking.com, keep Karma active, then compare the exact same room and conditions. If your plans are mostly on Victoria Island or in Lekki, a cheaper hotel much farther away may not be worth the extra travel time.

Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki and Ikeja can suit very different trips. Decide where you expect to spend most of your time before comparing room prices.
Do not assume you can enter the room in the morning. Ask the hotel whether it can guarantee early check-in, store luggage or provide a paid early-arrival option.
Use Karma and Trivago as extra checks, but compare the full total, cancellation rules, breakfast and airport-transfer terms before paying.

Check in on 22 October and check out on 29 October. This covers the seven nights of 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 October.
Booking from 21 October can make sense if you want the room waiting for you when you land at 05:50 on the 22nd.
The return flight leaves at 06:45 on 29 October, so the final night is still necessary even though you will leave the hotel very early.
For a one-week stay, I would normally choose one well-located hotel unless your plans genuinely require time in two very different parts of Lagos.
📍 Best areas to consider in Lagos
A practical first place to search if you want hotels, restaurants, nightlife and many business-oriented properties in one area.
Often quieter and more residential in feel, with many higher-end hotels and easy access to Victoria Island.
Worth considering for restaurants, nightlife and a more local leisure-focused stay, but check travel times carefully if you have appointments elsewhere.
The practical choice if airport access matters most. It can make particular sense for the final night before the 06:45 departure.
🌎 How I would structure the stay
Keeping one base avoids wasting time packing, checking out and moving luggage during a seven-night trip.
If most meetings, restaurants or visits are on the island side, I would prioritise that rather than choosing solely on price.
If your main hotel is far from the airport, moving to Ikeja for the final night can simplify the very early departure — but only if the hotel change is worth the inconvenience.
For a 05:50 arrival and 06:45 departure, I would strongly consider pre-arranging airport transport with the hotel or another trusted provider.

Confirm who is meeting you, where, the total price and how the driver will contact you after landing.
