Tashkent
from €359 return
About this deal
A strong full-service fare from Riga to Tashkent
with Turkish Airlines from €359 return
through eDreams via Skyscanner.
The reference trip is 1 December – 7 December 2026.
It uses a single protected connection in Istanbul in each direction,
with a 2h30 outbound connection and approximately
2h20 on the return.
A 23 kg checked bag is included.
I deliberately selected the prepared dates below to favour
shorter overall journey times and daytime or sensible departure/arrival times where possible.
If you prefer booking directly with the airline,
Turkish Airlines was selectable from the Skyscanner provider list at around €380 return,
only about €21 more than the reference eDreams fare.

Fare details + catches
The combination of a €359 return fare, 23 kg checked baggage, a strong full-service airline and only one Istanbul connection each way makes this a very complete Central Asia deal. The direct-airline option is also only around €21 more.
The eDreams proof also displays a lower Prime-member price. I am using the normal non-discounted fare of €358.97, rounded to €359, so the headline does not depend on a paid membership.

Booking options
The reference proof shows a normal non-Prime fare of €358.97. Use the prepared Skyscanner link to open the correct dates and confirm the final total before payment.
CHECK 01 DEC – 07 DEC →Turkish Airlines was selectable directly from the Skyscanner provider list. At only around €21 more than the reference eDreams fare, booking directly with the airline is a particularly attractive alternative.
Twelve prepared combinations were found between late November 2026 and May 2027. I deliberately favoured the options with shorter overall journey times and sensible daytime or evening departures and arrivals where possible. The 1–7 December trip is the reference option used for the fare proof.
Availability extends from winter into spring. If weather matters more than the absolute lowest fare, the March, April and May options are particularly attractive for sightseeing in Uzbekistan.
A very complete Central Asia fare: strong pricing, Turkish Airlines throughout, 23 kg checked baggage, sensible one-stop routing and unusually broad availability across several months.

Tashkent hotel playbook
The reference Turkish Airlines itinerary arrives in Tashkent on 2 December 2026 at 08:35 and leaves on 7 December at 09:55. That gives you 5 hotel nights in Tashkent. For this trip, I would prioritise a central location with easy Metro access, strong recent reviews, reliable heating, and a straightforward airport transfer.
Tashkent is spread out, so location matters more than it may first appear. For a five-night stay, I would compare Amir Timur Square / city centre, Mirobod, Yakkasaroy and Chilonzor near the Metro before choosing purely on nightly price.

💰 Dino hotel booking method
Find 3–5 hotels in the area you actually want. For Tashkent, compare recent reviews, exact location, Metro access, heating, room condition, breakfast, cancellation terms, airport-transfer options, and the final five-night total.
Once you have a room you like, let Karma check whether another seller has the same room for less. Only switch if the room type, guest count, taxes, breakfast, cancellation policy, payment conditions, and any local charges genuinely match.
Before paying, search the same hotel and dates on Trivago and compare the final stay total one more time. If the saving is small, favour the option with the clearest conditions and the booking platform you trust more.
🌙 How many hotel nights?
Check in: 2 December.
Check out: 7 December.
Arrival at 08:35. Ask the hotel about luggage storage or paid early check-in if you want to use the first day immediately.
Five nights gives you time for Tashkent itself without rushing and still leaves room for one optional day trip.
Departure is at 09:55. Arrange transport to the airport in advance and avoid an awkward final-night location.
📍 Best areas to stay
Amir Timur Square / city centre
A strong first-time base with central sights, restaurants, Metro access, and easy movement around the city.
Mirobod
Convenient for restaurants, the railway station, and a more lived-in city feel while staying close to central Tashkent.
Yakkasaroy
A practical option with a mix of hotels, restaurants, and quieter residential streets south of the centre.
Chilonzor near the Metro
Often better value, but choose carefully and stay close to a Metro station so the lower room price does not cost you time every day.
🌎 How I would use the 5-night stay
Give one day to the historic side of the city, including Khast Imam, Chorsu Bazaar, and nearby neighbourhoods.
Use another day for Amir Timur Square, central avenues, parks, museums, and the modern side of the capital.
Tashkent's Metro is part transport and part sightseeing. Build in time to explore several stations and less-touristy districts.
With five nights, you can keep one day flexible for a guided excursion or a longer rail day trip if the schedule suits you.
⚠️ Dangers + what to look out for
Tashkent is generally straightforward for visitors, but transport, payment details, winter conditions, and the exact hotel location are worth checking carefully before you book.
Prefer official taxis or recognised ride-hailing apps. Avoid agreeing to vague fares with unofficial drivers, especially at the airport.
Check whether the hotel requires cash, a card deposit, or payment on arrival. Make sure the final booking conditions are clear before you travel.
Use established accommodation and confirm that the property handles any guest-registration formalities required for foreign visitors.
December can be cold. Read recent reviews for heating, hot water, window insulation, and whether the room stays comfortable overnight.
Use normal big-city precautions in markets, stations, and crowded public transport. Keep phones, wallets, passports, and bags secure.
Traffic can be fast and wide roads are common. Use marked crossings and allow extra time rather than rushing across unfamiliar junctions.
A property may describe itself as central even when it is inconvenient for the places you plan to visit. Check the exact map position and nearest Metro station.
Pay attention to repeated complaints about cleanliness, heating, noise, unreliable airport transfers, poor Wi-Fi, or unexpected charges.
🛡️ Practical booking notes
You land at 08:35. Ask the hotel about luggage storage or paid early check-in so you can use the first day properly.
A central hotel near the Metro can save time and reduce your dependence on taxis during a relatively short five-night stay.
Expect cool winter conditions. Prioritise reliable heating and pack layers suitable for evenings and early mornings.
Check breakfast, cancellation terms, taxes, payment timing, airport transfers, and any mandatory local charges before comparing the final five-night price.
For a five-night Tashkent stay, I would prioritise experiences where a local guide, organised transport, or timed planning genuinely adds value.
A few useful extras that can make the journey easier, particularly when travelling with restrictive cabin-bag fares, arriving late or needing mobile data as soon as you land.
A useful packing solution when you are trying to fit more clothing
into a restricted cabin bag.
Particularly relevant for travellers using airlines such as
Ryanair and Wizz Air, where baggage dimensions and
additional luggage fees can significantly change the final cost of a
cheap flight.
Compress your clothing and make better use of the space available

card or relying on airport Wi-Fi.
