A very strong full-service fare from Vienna to Windhoek, Namibia, with only one stop in Addis Ababa and generous checked baggage included.
The lowest fares we found are around €549-€560 via Bravofly on Skyscanner Austria, using a German-language booking flow.
The same itinerary is also available directly with Ethiopian Airlines for around €589, which is only a modest premium and would be my preferred booking.

The OTA price sits around €549-€560, while Ethiopian Airlines itself is around €589.
On a long-haul itinerary to Namibia, paying roughly €29-€40 more to keep the ticket directly with the operating airline is a very reasonable trade-off.
The fare also includes 2 x 23 kg checked baggage, making the total value considerably stronger than a cheaper-looking fare that requires adding luggage later.
The lowest price was found through Skyscanner Austria with Bravofly, and the booking flow is in German.
I would check the final payment total carefully before purchasing through the OTA. Given the relatively small difference, the €589 Ethiopian Airlines direct fare would be my preferred option.
The routing itself is good: both Addis Ababa connections are around three hours, so there is no overnight airport wait or excessively long stop.
This is the lowest price range we found.

The reference flight gives you approximately 14 hotel nights in Namibia. I would not spend the whole trip in Windhoek: the capital is a useful and enjoyable starting point, but the real strength of this itinerary is using it as the gateway to Namibia's desert, coast and wildlife regions.
My preferred plan is 1 night in Windhoek on arrival, then a wider self-drive through Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland / Twyfelfontein and Etosha, before returning for 1 final night in Windhoek before the flight home.
For this reference trip I would allocate two nights total: one on arrival and one before departure. If you enjoy capitals, museums, restaurants and slower travel, make it two nights at the beginning + one final night, but I would not use four or five nights here on a first Namibia trip.
Your reference flight lands around 13:20, so spend the afternoon settling in, collecting the car, changing money / buying supplies and having a relaxed evening. Start the road trip fresh the next morning.
Add a second night if you want time for Christuskirche, the Independence Memorial Museum, the Namibia Craft Centre, local food and a slower introduction to the country.
Return to Windhoek the day before the flight home. Namibia's distances and gravel roads make it sensible not to plan a long cross-country drive on departure day.
For a short stay, location matters more than chasing the cheapest room. The most practical bases are the centre for sightseeing, or the quieter eastern / northern residential areas if you have a rental car and want an easier overnight stop.
Walk the central area around one of Windhoek's best-known landmarks and use it as a starting point for the city's historic core.
A useful stop for understanding Namibia's modern history before heading into the rest of the country.
A practical place to browse Namibian crafts and local products without using valuable road-trip time later.
On the arrival day, I would keep the schedule deliberately light. Namibia's road trip deserves a fresh start the following morning.
Namibia is one of those destinations where the journey between places is part of the experience. The official tourism board specifically recommends self-driving and notes that much of the road network is gravel, so build realistic driving time into the plan rather than trying to cover enormous distances every day.

Namibia is very well suited to self-driving, but do not plan it like a European motorway trip.
A large share of the road network is gravel, and the Namibia Tourism Board recommends allowing extra time
and keeping speeds lower on gravel roads.
If you are not comfortable with long-distance self-driving, build the same route using
organised transfers, a guided tour or a mix of lodges and excursions instead.
