A rare last-minute Caribbean steal from Belfast
This is a seriously strong last-minute deal. Direct flights from Belfast to Punta Cana from just £200 are extremely hard to ignore, especially for a nonstop Caribbean route from Northern Ireland.
The schedule is also surprisingly good: the outbound leaves Belfast in the morning and arrives in Punta Cana in the afternoon, while the return leaves the Dominican Republic in the late afternoon and lands back in Belfast the following morning. No messy connections, no extra airport changes, and no long-haul routing through mainland Europe.
The fare includes 10 kg hand luggage, which is enough for light travellers. If you need checked luggage, fares with hold baggage were starting from around £282, which is still a strong price for a direct Caribbean escape.
The only reason this does not score even higher is the very limited availability and last-minute nature of the deal. Dino found only a few short travel windows around late June and early July, so this is the kind of fare that can disappear quickly. Travellers should also check Dominican Republic entry rules, luggage details, final TUI price and hotel costs before booking.

Where to stay in Punta Cana
The flight price is already excellent, but the hotel side can also work very well for this trip. On sample searches for 20 June – 4 July, we found very well-rated all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana from around £70 per person per night, based on 2 adults.
One example available during the search was Bakour Punta Cana Suites, showing how this last-minute Caribbean escape can still be built into a full beach holiday without the hotel cost becoming painful.
Punta Cana is one of those destinations where hotel choice matters a lot. Check carefully whether the property is truly all-inclusive, what meals and drinks are included, the beach location, recent reviews, resort fees, taxes and cancellation policy before booking.
Hotel prices and availability can change quickly, especially for last-minute Caribbean dates. Always check the final dates, location, reviews, board basis, taxes, resort fees and cancellation policy before booking.
