A good full-service fare from Prague to Jakarta with Turkish Airlines and only one connection in Istanbul each way.
The cheapest offer I found is around €535 with Ubfly via Aviasales Austria, with additional options such as Gotogate and Mytrip available at similar prices.
Turkish Airlines can also be booked directly on its own website for around €558 return. It is not available as an Aviasales vendor for this fare, but for only around €23 more it remains my preferred booking option.
The fare includes 20 kg checked baggage.

The 16-29 November combination is the reference fare idea with about 12 nights in Indonesia. The Turkish Airlines schedule below is the 19-29 November itinerary captured during the fare check; exact times can vary slightly by travel date.

The connection itself is short and efficient, but it falls at a time when I would normally be sleeping. That is the main schedule compromise on this fare.

The cheapest option was around €535 with Ubfly via Aviasales Austria. Gotogate and Mytrip were available at similar prices. Turkish Airlines direct was around €558 and was checked separately because it is not listed as an Aviasales vendor for this fare.
The OTA price is useful for establishing the low fare, but the gap to Turkish Airlines is extremely small.

I would personally pay the extra €23 and keep the booking directly with the operating airline.
Availability is still limited to five date combinations, all concentrated in November.
November is also a weaker seasonal period for Jakarta and much of western Indonesia because rainfall and humidity increase as the wet season develops.
The Istanbul connections are short, but the outbound transfer happens around midnight / early morning,
exactly when I would normally want to be sleeping. The routing is efficient; the timing is simply not especially comfortable.
Ubfly was the lowest option I found through Aviasales Austria.
Gotogate and Mytrip were also available at similar prices, so compare the final payment total and booking conditions before paying.
Turkish Airlines is not available as an Aviasales vendor for this fare, so check it separately on the airline website.
At only around €23 more than the cheapest OTA, this is the option I would choose.
For a long-haul journey, the small premium is worth having the ticket issued and serviced directly by the operating airline.
Availability is limited to five combinations in November 2026. The highlighted 16-29 November option gives you roughly 12 nights in Indonesia.
A good full-service Indonesia fare with efficient one-stop routing, 20 kg checked baggage and an unusually small premium for booking directly with Turkish Airlines. Limited availability, wet-season timing and an uncomfortable overnight Istanbul transfer keep it firmly in the low 8s.

New communityJakarta is not usually the main reason people fly to Indonesia, but it can work very well as a first stop for 1-2 nights. It gives you time to rest after the long-haul flight, enjoy a good city hotel and then continue to the parts of Indonesia that are usually more exciting from a sightseeing point of view.
The good news is that well-rated 4 and 5 star hotels in Jakarta often start from around €40 per night, so the city can be a very affordable soft landing. For this trip my pick for the first 2 nights is the DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta - Diponegoro.
For most visitors I think 2 nights is ideal. Jakarta is useful as a gateway and a comfortable first stop, but if you have a 10-12 night Indonesia itinerary I would not spend too much of it here. There are simply more rewarding places elsewhere in the country.
Good for arriving, resting, enjoying one strong hotel stay and then continuing to Java, Bali or another island.
Enough if you mainly want a simple overnight after landing before catching a domestic or regional flight onward.
Worth considering only if you want a slower pace, shopping, museums and more time in the city before moving on.
For the first 2 nights in Indonesia, this is exactly the kind of hotel I would look for: a comfortable, well-rated 5-star base with enough facilities that your first stop feels relaxing rather than purely functional.
The property sits in the Cikini / Menteng area of Central Jakarta, which is one of the better places to stay if you want a practical, more polished base. It is not a beach resort and Jakarta itself is not the country's standout destination, but it is a strong place to land, sleep well and start the trip properly.
The Booking.com listing shows a Fabulous 8.8/10 guest rating from over 1,200 reviews, with staff rated 9.5/10. Facilities include 2 swimming pools, a spa and wellness centre, fitness centre, 2 restaurants, free Wi-Fi, airport shuttle and family-friendly features.
One thing I particularly like here is that there are several meal-plan options depending on how you want to structure the stay.
The sample screen showed:
- around €176 for 2 nights on a cheaper room-only / non-refundable style option
- around €211 for a flexible rate with free cancellation and breakfast available as an add-on
- around €225 with breakfast included on a cheaper non-refundable basis
- around €260 with breakfast included plus free cancellation / no prepayment
- and around €293 with breakfast & dinner included and flexibility shown.
For a short 2-night stay after a long-haul flight, I would usually lean toward the flexible breakfast-included option. It keeps the trip easy and gives you a good start each morning without spending excessively.

Jakarta works well as a recovery stop after a long-haul flight. Use the hotel pool, rest and keep the first day light.
If you want a quick city overview, the Monas area is the obvious central sight to include.
The old town area gives you a more historic side of Jakarta and can be combined with museums or coffee stops.
Use Jakarta for food. Indonesian cuisine is one of the best reasons to spend a short stop in the capital.
This is where the trip becomes much more interesting. I would treat Jakarta as the arrival point, then continue somewhere that gives you a stronger Indonesia experience.
