This is a very strong short-haul fare because the lowest prices are available on Iberia, include a
personal item plus a regular cabin bag, and there is unusually broad availability from
November 2026 through June 2027.
The standout reference itinerary is 26 Mar - 31 Mar 2027 at approximately
€91.05 return. Those dates fall directly across Easter:
Good Friday is 26 March, Easter Sunday 28 March and Easter Monday 29 March 2027.
That makes the fare particularly interesting for a 5-night Easter break on the French Riviera.
I also found plenty of spring and early-summer options. By late May and June, prices were still only around
€113 return on several combinations.

Easter falls unusually early in 2027:
Good Friday is 26 March, Easter Sunday 28 March and Easter Monday 29 March.
That means the 26-31 March reference fare gives you a genuine Easter holiday trip for around
€91 return on Iberia, with proper cabin baggage included.
This is not limited to one isolated March weekend.
I found useful combinations from November 2026 through June 2027.
Several late-May and June options were still around €113 return, which is attractive for the French Riviera as the weather becomes more summer-like.

Depending on the dates checked, Iberia was generally appearing in the approximate

For a relatively small-value European ticket, I would not chase a tiny saving through an unfamiliar OTA if Iberia is available at a similar price.

This is an unusually strong European city-break fare because it combines a sub-€100 Iberia return, direct flights, proper cabin baggage and genuine Easter availability. The broad calendar through June 2027 makes it much more useful than a one-off flash fare.

New communityNice works extremely well as a base for the Côte d'Azur because you can combine a proper city break with beaches, excellent public transport and very easy day trips to Monaco, Èze, Antibes, Cannes and Menton.
For the 5-night Easter reference trip, I would probably keep one hotel in Nice for the whole stay rather than changing accommodation. The rail connections along the coast are good enough that most of the classic Riviera stops can be visited as day trips and you avoid wasting holiday time checking in and out of different hotels.
Hotel prices vary enormously by season and neighbourhood, particularly around Easter and major Riviera events. I would compare the same dates in Vieux Nice, Carré d'Or, the Promenade and around Nice-Ville before deciding.
Nice is compact enough that several central areas work well, but each has a slightly different feel. These are the neighbourhoods I would compare first.
One of Nice's biggest advantages is that you do not necessarily need to move hotels. For a 4–5 night stay, I would use Nice as the base and add one or two day trips.
5 nights Nice + Monaco day trip + Èze or Antibes day trip.
This is the simplest and most efficient option. You get the city, the Riviera and Monaco without losing time changing hotels.
5 nights Nice + only 1 day trip to Monaco.
Better if you want time for cafés, the Promenade, Vieux Nice and a slower city-break pace.
5 nights Nice + Monaco + Cannes / Antibes.
A good choice if exploring the coast matters more than spending several full days in Nice itself.
I would only split the stay if the trip grows to 7 nights or more or if you specifically want to spend evenings in Monaco, Cannes or Provence.
