Zanzibar
from €120 one-way
About this deal
This is an eye-catching one-way fare from Prague to Zanzibar with Condor,
starting at just €119.99 on the Economy Zero fare or €159.99
in Economy Classic.
The reference flight on 23 September 2026 leaves Prague at 17:00
and arrives in Zanzibar at 05:25 the following morning, with one stop and a total
journey time of around 11h25.
The headline price is excellent, but this is not automatically an excellent complete trip.
Availability is very limited, the 05:25 arrival is awkward for normal hotel check-in,
and cheap one-way fares back to Europe are not nearly as easy to find. This is why the overall
Dino Score stays in the 7s despite the spectacular outbound price.
Economy Classic: €159.99
Airline: Condor
Routing: 1 stop
Journey time: 11h25
Dino pick: Economy Classic
Reference flight schedule
Condor · 1 stop · approximately 11h25 total
The 17:00 departure from Prague is convenient, but the 05:25 arrival in Zanzibar
is the main schedule weakness. Your hotel room will normally not be ready at that hour, so contact
the property before travelling and ask about luggage storage or early check-in.
The outbound fare is the attraction here. One-way fares from Zanzibar back to Europe can be considerably more expensive and are less frequent, so do not treat €120 as the cost of the whole trip. Search your return before committing to the outbound ticket.

Fare proof
€119.99 one-way. Includes a small bag up to 40 × 30 × 15 cm, one standard meal, soft drinks and seatback entertainment. This is the attention-grabbing headline fare, but baggage is extremely restrictive.
€159.99 one-way. Includes 1 × 20 kg checked bag + 1 × 8 kg hand baggage, one standard meal, soft drinks and seatback entertainment. For only €40 more, this is comfortably the better fare for a Zanzibar trip.
Fare + booking details
A very cheap headline fare with only a small 40 × 30 × 15 cm bag included. Meal, soft drinks and seatback entertainment are still included, but this fare is best for very light travellers.
For just €40 more you get 20 kg checked baggage + 8 kg hand baggage. On a long-haul leisure trip to Zanzibar, this is the fare I would book.
Arrival warning: landing at 05:25 can create a hotel problem. Standard check-in is usually much later. Ask your hotel about early check-in or luggage storage. If you absolutely need immediate room access, you may have to reserve the room from the previous night, which reduces the real saving.
Return-flight warning: this fare is one-way. Search Zanzibar → Europe before paying. A cheap outbound does not help much if the return costs several times more.
Booking options
Best only if you can genuinely travel with a 40 × 30 × 15 cm small bag. Meal, soft drink and entertainment are included, but there is no normal cabin trolley or checked bag in this fare.
Check Economy Zero →The sensible choice for Zanzibar. For only €40 extra you get 20 kg checked baggage + 8 kg hand baggage, while keeping the included meal, soft drinks and seatback entertainment.
Check Economy Classic →This is exactly the kind of fare that looks unbelievable in isolation. Before booking, check your flight back to Europe and ask your hotel what happens with a 05:25 arrival. Those two details can materially change the value of the trip.
Check the reference fare →Availability is one of the main weaknesses. Only a small cluster of September dates was found at this level.
Good — spectacular outbound price, but the complete trip needs planning. €120 to Zanzibar sounds almost ridiculous, and €160 with 20 kg checked + 8 kg cabin baggage is excellent value. But availability is scarce, the 05:25 arrival is awkward, and the one-way return problem prevents this from becoming an 8+ deal.

Dino hotel guide · Zanzibar
The €120–€160 Prague → Zanzibar fare is excellent, but because it is one-way, I would not book the outbound until I had a realistic plan for the rest of the trip. For most travellers, 5–7 nights in Zanzibar is the sweet spot. If you have more time, this is also a perfect deal to turn into a wider East Africa / North Africa itinerary rather than forcing an expensive one-way flight straight back to Europe.
How many days do you need in Zanzibar?
Zanzibar works best when you do not treat it as one long beach stay.
I would normally split the trip between Stone Town and one beach area,
or use one beach base and add Stone Town as a day / overnight stop.
Five nights is enough for a first taste. Seven nights is better if you want
beach time without turning every day into an excursion. If diving, kitesurfing or simply doing very little is the point,
8–10 nights can still make sense.
Where to stay in Zanzibar
Dino layout: for a 7-night trip I would seriously consider 1–2 nights Stone Town + 5–6 nights Nungwi, Kendwa, Paje or Jambiani. It gives you two completely different sides of Zanzibar without changing hotel every second day.
Dino's Booking.com + Karma workflow
Zanzibar has everything from simple guesthouses to expensive beach resorts, and the cheapest-looking rate can change once breakfast, airport transfers or cancellation conditions are added. My preferred workflow is to browse Booking.com with Karma active, then let Karma check whether the same hotel and room are cheaper through another booking portal. If Karma finds nothing useful, Trivago is the last comparison before paying.
Keep the extension active while browsing hotels.
Choose the exact area, hotel and room you actually want.
If the same stay is cheaper elsewhere, follow the comparison and check the conditions.
Breakfast, transfers, cancellation and taxes matter more than a tiny nightly saving.
If Karma does not find anything useful, do one final comparison.
Before you book a hotel
05:25 arrival: this is especially important for the Condor fare. Normal hotel check-in will usually be much later. Contact the hotel before travelling and ask about early check-in, luggage storage or a paid half-day / previous-night solution. Do not assume a room will be available at 06:00 just because you have a reservation for that date.
One-way ticket: plan the return before you fly
This is the most important part of this deal. I would not book Prague → Zanzibar first and then
start thinking about how to get home.
Search the return before paying and keep a few possible routes open.
You may also be asked to show proof of onward or return travel when entering Tanzania,
so a one-way flight is another reason to have the next sector organised before departure.
Dino example: Prague → Zanzibar on the cheap Condor fare, spend 5–7 nights in Zanzibar, then look at Zanzibar → Nairobi → Cairo → Europe. Kenya Airways currently sells Zanzibar–Nairobi and Nairobi–Cairo itineraries, so the concept is realistic, but price and schedules need to be checked for your exact dates.
Separate-ticket rule: do not build a tight same-day self-transfer just to save €30. If tickets are separate, I would strongly prefer an overnight buffer in Nairobi or Cairo. You are responsible for missed onward flights, baggage re-checks and any entry formalities.
Check entry rules for every stop: if you leave the airport in Kenya or Egypt, confirm visa / ETA requirements for your nationality before booking. Health-document rules can also depend on your recent travel history, so check those before building an East Africa itinerary.

GetYourGuide Zanzibar
GetYourGuide is useful for comparing Stone Town tours, spice farms, Jozani Forest, Mnemba snorkelling, Prison Island, Nakupenda sandbank trips, dhow cruises and airport transfers. I would pre-book the important day trips and leave a few beach days flexible.
