Malta
from €68 return
About this deal
This is one of those fares I would genuinely call a rare gem:
Niš to Malta from €68 return with Air Serbia,
nonstop both ways, with 8 kg cabin baggage included and
booking available directly with the airline.
The reference trip is 14–21 July 2027 — proper peak-summer dates rather than
an off-season headline fare. The schedule is excellent too:
11:20–13:15 outbound and 16:20–18:15 return,
with a flight time of only 1h55 each way.
Availability is unusually broad. I found a long run of Wednesday-to-Wednesday trips
from November 2026 right through August 2027 at around €68 return.
The main exception in the prepared dates is 23–30 December at €85 return,
which is still an excellent Christmas-week fare.
The fare is Economy Light. The big advantage is that, unlike many ultra-low-cost fares,
it already includes an 8 kg cabin bag. A checked bag is not included in the headline fare.

Why this one stands out
You arrive in Malta on 14 July and fly home on 21 July, giving you a clean 7-night summer holiday.
The airfare is exceptional, but accommodation can be expensive during peak summer. I would compare hotels early and avoid judging the whole trip by the flight price alone. Also remember that checked baggage is not included in Economy Light.
Booking options
This is the easy choice: the headline fare itself is available directly with Air Serbia. Use the prepared Skyscanner link for your dates, then select Air Serbia from the vendor list.
Check 14–21 July →The fare includes 8 kg cabin baggage. A checked bag is not included, so add one only if you genuinely need it.
Air Serbia website →This is the unusual part of the deal: availability stretches from November 2026 to August 2027, including multiple June, July and August dates. Most prepared trips were around €68 return; Christmas week was €85. Many additional Wednesday-to-Wednesday dates may also appear.
A genuinely unusual fare: nonstop summer travel, airline-direct booking, an 8 kg cabin bag and exceptional date availability. The main thing holding the score back is not the flight at all — it is Malta's higher accommodation costs in peak summer and the lack of checked baggage in Economy Light.

Malta hotel playbook
The reference itinerary gives you 7 hotel nights in Malta, arriving on 14 July 2027 and flying home on 21 July 2027. Because this is peak summer, I would not wait too long for accommodation: once the flights are booked, I would secure a good-value hotel with free cancellation and keep checking prices later.
Malta hotel prices are likely to get more expensive as July gets closer. My strategy would be to reserve something sensible with free cancellation immediately after booking the flights, then keep Karma active and re-check the market later. If a better hotel or lower rate appears, you can simply switch.
💰 Dino hotel booking method
Once the flights are confirmed, secure a well-rated hotel with free cancellation. For July 2027, I would rather lock a sensible price now than gamble on prices falling later.
Continue checking the same hotel and similar properties over the coming months. If Karma finds the same conditions cheaper, compare carefully before switching.
Before the free-cancellation deadline, compare the final total one more time. If a genuinely better deal appears, rebook and cancel the original.
⏳ How many nights in Malta?
Enough for Valletta, the Three Cities and a quick taste of the island, but too short if you also want proper beach time.
A good city-and-coast break with time for Valletta, Mdina and one or two beach or boat days.
The reference trip is ideal. You can see the main sights without rushing and still leave room for Gozo, Comino or slower beach days.
Worth considering if you want a split stay between the harbour area and the north of Malta or several nights on Gozo.
📍 Best areas to stay in Malta
The most atmospheric base for history, architecture and evenings in the capital. Excellent for a first visit, but usually not the cheapest option.
My practical all-round choice: lots of hotels, restaurants and transport, plus easy ferry access across the harbour to Valletta.
Best if nightlife, bars and a lively atmosphere matter. Convenient, but parts of the area can be noisy in peak summer.
Better for beaches and a slower holiday feel. A good choice if swimming and the north of the island matter more than nightlife.
🌎 What to do with the week
Allow at least one full day for Valletta and another half-day or evening around Birgu, Senglea and the harbour.
An easy day away from the coast for Malta's quieter historic side, especially enjoyable later in the afternoon and evening.
Worth a full day, or even one overnight if you want a slower pace. Do not try to squeeze every island into one rushed boat tour.
Blue Lagoon is beautiful but extremely busy in summer. Go early, choose a smaller boat or consider quieter swimming spots elsewhere.
⚠️ Malta practical survival kit
Malta is small on the map, but summer traffic can make short distances take much longer than expected. Build some buffer into airport and ferry days.
Plan outdoor sightseeing earlier in the day, use the middle of the afternoon for swimming or a slower break, and carry water.
The €68 flight is extraordinary, but accommodation may become the biggest part of the trip cost in July. That is why I would reserve early.
Look at taxes, breakfast, air-conditioning, room size and cancellation terms. A cheap nightly rate is not automatically the best-value stay.
Malta is easy to explore independently, but harbour cruises, Gozo trips and selected boat excursions can be useful. I would avoid overbooking the week — leave time for swimming, wandering and slower evenings.
