Both flights are nonstop, the timings are excellent for a transatlantic trip, and the headline fare includes
a personal item plus a regular cabin bag.
If you need checked baggage, the fare with 1 x 23 kg checked bag comes to approximately
€361 return.
That is a sizeable jump from the cabin-bag fare, but even the checked-bag option remains competitive for a direct Dublin-Miami itinerary.
Most importantly, there is no OTA complication here:
all booking traffic goes directly to Aer Lingus.

New communityMiami can easily fill a full week, but if this is your first South Florida trip I would usually use it as the starting point for a wider itinerary rather than spending every night in the same neighbourhood.
For the 7-night reference trip, my preferred split would be 3–4 nights in Miami + 3–4 nights somewhere else in South Florida. The easiest combinations are the Florida Keys, Fort Lauderdale or the Everglades, while Orlando makes more sense if you have extra time.
Miami hotel prices vary heavily by neighbourhood, weekend and event dates. I would compare the same stay in South Beach, Brickell and Downtown before booking because the difference can be substantial.
Miami is spread out, so choosing the right area matters more than simply finding the cheapest hotel.
If your trip is a full week, I would normally avoid spending all seven nights in exactly the same part of Miami unless beach time is the main objective.
A split lets you experience another side of Florida without adding a complicated flight itinerary.
4 nights Miami + 3 nights Florida Keys.
This gives you Miami's city and beach energy followed by a much slower island-style road-trip experience.
4 nights Miami + 3 nights Fort Lauderdale.
Very easy geographically and useful if you want a quieter beach stay without a long drive.
4 nights Miami + Everglades day trip + 2–3 nights in the Keys.
A good balance of city, wildlife and coast without adding another flight.
3 nights Miami + 4 nights Orlando.
Worth considering if theme parks are a major goal, but the transfer is much longer than the South Florida combinations.
