Bogotá
from $368 return
About this deal
This is one of those fares where the availability makes the deal just as interesting as the price.
I found Miami to Bogotá nonstop with Emirates for about $368 return,
and the same fare was showing across a huge number of flexible-date combinations from
February through June 2027.
The reference trip I checked is 11–24 February 2027.
Emirates showed a total of $367.13 return in Economy Saver,
booked directly on its own website.
The schedule is excellent: 3h50 outbound and 3h55 return,
both nonstop, with normal daytime timings. A cabin bag and the first checked bag were shown as included.
I am deliberately sending the main booking traffic directly to Emirates even though that means no affiliate commission for me.
The fare was also matching on Aviasales when checked, so I have left an optional route-search box further down the page for anyone who wants to compare.
This is one of the flexible-date views I checked. Every combination in this grid was showing around USD 368 return. I also found the fare continuing across many more dates through June.
These are just examples — the fare was showing on many more combinations. Use Emirates' flexible-date search to check the full calendar.
Typical nonstop schedule
Miami 11:50 → Bogotá 15:40
Emirates EK213 · Boeing 777 · Economy Saver
Nonstop · 3h50
Bogotá 17:45 → Miami 21:40
Emirates EK214 · Boeing 777 · Economy Saver
Nonstop · 3h55
Why this one stands out
I checked comparison sites too, but the important part here is that Emirates itself is selling the fare for about $368 return. I would rather send you directly to the airline than push an affiliate link just to earn commission.
Booking
This is where I would book it. The direct airline price is already the deal. Use Emirates' flexible-date search because the same fare appears across a very wide range of dates.
Search direct with Emirates →I also checked Aviasales and saw the same general price level. Use the search box below if you want a quick comparison, but my main recommendation remains Emirates direct.
This is unusually complete for the price: Emirates, nonstop flights, sensible schedules, baggage included, direct-airline booking and excellent availability across several months.

Bogotá hotel guide
The reference trip arrives in Bogotá on 11 February 2027 and flies home on 24 February, giving you 13 hotel nights. I would not spend all thirteen in Bogotá. My preference would be to use the capital as the first base, then add one or two other Colombian stops before returning to Bogotá for the final night.
I would lock in a good free-cancellation hotel in Bogotá, keep Karma active, and only then build the rest of the trip around it. With 13 nights, there is enough time to add another city without rushing.
💰 Dino hotel booking method
Bogotá is large, so I would decide whether I want historic atmosphere, nightlife, restaurants or a quieter business district before comparing individual hotels.
Once you find a hotel you like, let Karma check whether another seller has the same room for less. Keep the cancellation terms and breakfast conditions in view.
Compare the final total again before paying. For a longer Colombia trip, I would usually prefer a flexible booking rather than saving a small amount on a restrictive rate.
⏳ How many nights would I stay in Bogotá?
Enough for La Candelaria, the historic centre, museums and a good first look at the city.
This gives you time to explore different neighbourhoods and add one easy day trip without rushing.
With this much time, I would combine Bogotá with at least one other Colombian destination.
I would be back in Bogotá the night before the 17:45 flight so the final day stays simple.
📍 Best areas to stay in Bogotá
Best for historic atmosphere and sightseeing. A good choice if you want to be close to the old centre and major museums.
My pick if restaurants and a more contemporary city feel matter more than staying directly in the historic centre.
Polished, convenient and full of restaurants, bars and hotels. Usually more expensive, but easy for evenings out.
Useful for the final night if you have an early departure, but for this 17:45 flight I would normally stay in the city instead.
🌎 What I would do with the other nights
An easy city combination if you want a completely different atmosphere from Bogotá and several days to explore at a slower pace.
A strong contrast to Bogotá if you want to add warm weather, Caribbean atmosphere and a historic old town.
Better if you want a slower colonial-town break without turning the trip into a multi-flight itinerary.
You can also keep Bogotá as the main base and add day trips such as Zipaquirá rather than changing hotels several times.
⚠️ Bogotá practical survival kit
Bogotá sits at high altitude. I would keep arrival day light and avoid planning too much immediately after landing.
Bogotá is not a tropical-beach climate. I would bring layers rather than assuming Colombia means hot weather everywhere.
Traffic can make cross-city journeys slow, so I would choose a neighbourhood that matches what you actually want to do.
I would not automatically pay for an expensive hotel breakfast if there are good cafés and restaurants nearby.
Bogotá is easy to explore independently, but food tours, guided historic walks and day trips can be useful if you want more context or do not want to organise transport yourself.
A few useful extras that can make the journey easier, particularly when travelling with restrictive cabin-bag fares, arriving late or needing mobile data as soon as you land.
A useful packing solution when you are trying to fit more clothing
into a restricted cabin bag.
Particularly relevant for travellers using airlines such as
Ryanair and Wizz Air, where baggage dimensions and
additional luggage fees can significantly change the final cost of a
cheap flight.
Compress your clothing and make better use of the space available
inside your luggage.
Arrive with mobile data ready and avoid searching for a local SIM
